Perhaps I did not read the description, but I was surprised to find that this hanger required a small bit of assembly. You just had to use two screws on each side to attach the hooks that go over the door as well as the two end coat hooks. It was very simple to do and even came with a small screwdriver. For what it is, inexpensive metal coat hanger for over the door, it meets my needs. The white looks good on my white door - benign and blends in. Anything hung on the center hooks will block the peep hole. That's fine because some dumb dumb installed the peep hole for a 5'10"+ human being, of which I am not. Instructions were helpful enough and the parts were self-explanatory. It was nice there were 1-2 extra pieces of everything. The screwdriver was dinky but would have worked in a pinch. Packaging was good. Seems strong enough but I wouldn't hang my heavy wool coat on it. Thickness for a 1-3/4" wide door is spot on. Zero interference with my door and door frame. The two bottom hooks for each trio of hooks will easily fit the snap on a standard leash, no need to drape the leash over the hooks. It's also nice to hang my hoodie over two bottom hooks so that there is less deformation of the cloth. I'm happy to finally have a light jacket, dog leashes, doggie dookie bag dispenser and dog harness for the car, off of the floor and organized. No longer dropping the leashes on the bare floor, hearing it clank. No more stacking jackets or dog harness on the nearby lamp. It feels meditative. Read more
