I love the design of the lamp. It’s made well. My only issue is the bulb. I have been having a nightmare trying to find a bulb that fits. It needs an ultra short bulb, but all the ones I found are very low watts. There’s only about 3 inches so I’ve spent the last week or so buying and returning different bulbs. Read more

I love Tiffany stained glass, and this lamp came encased in styrofoam, with all pieces well protected, nothing broken. The lampshade is made of glass leaves (it’s quite heavy!), making a sort of lamp tree. I like the pull chain to turn it on, because it’s easier to find than a knob, and is pretty. My husband remarked that it was a bit goth looking when turned off. This does not come with lightbulbs, which I knew ahead of time, and we were able to find a pair at our local hardware store, as the bulbs we had in the house would not work. The bulb has to be quite short to fit in the setting—I think the bulbs that work with this are chandelier bulbs with a standard E26 base. One thing I noticed right away is that the bulb (which uses only 3.5 watts!) is quite bright through the shade, and I wish there was some sort of inner shade that could diffuse the light, because it mainly lights up the top of the lamp and while it does illuminate the whole shade, the bright point of light at the top stands out. It casts a cool shadow on the wall. It looks very nice in our bedroom, with its vintage, organic style, and I’ve been using it as a nightlight in the evening hours before bed. Read more

This is a nice-looking lamp. The base is made of resin, but it is crafted and colored to make it look like metal. The resin-as-metal look is largely successful. However, the resin makes the base a little lighter than I prefer. The stained-glass lampshade is impressive. My wife set up the lamp in our room, and when I walked in and saw it for the first time, my immediate thought was that it is smaller than I expected. The lamp gets an A+ for its appearance, but the small size and fake metal makes it overpriced IMHO. Recommended but with reservations. Read more
