So to start, these run big. I ordered these for my 13 year old but had to pass them to my 18 year old. They said for a 24 in waist but that doesn't seem right to me. Also they are not nearly as absorbant as the Thinx pair I purchased. You need to use some type of feminine product in conjuction with these. I ordered these for my daughter and ended up keeping them for myself. To be fair, they run large and she couldn't use them. I ordered the 14/16 and they are the size of a women's 4/6. I won't go into a lot of personal detail because noone wants that, but I will say that these are comfortable, they don't leak and they wash well. I rinse them before I put them in the wash- that is a must. And I hang them to dry. DO NOT put these in the dryer. I recommend these for sleeping if you don't have heavy flow at night. My wife ordered these for our daughter, who is 12-years-old. She is 4.10 and 100 lbs. She ordered her the 14-16 size. They fit her fine. Because these are period underwear, she knew that they would be thicker than regular underwear. This was expected. Unfortunately, they are too thick. They are so thick that my daughter doesn't like them and won't wear them. She desires a happy medium, something thicker than regular underwear, but not so thick that she struggles to wear under her clothing (especially when you factor in monthly bloating). This may work for a girl who has a heavy flow. My daughter didn't care for them though. I only deducted one star, because I know that some girls/women need thicker underwear during this time.
