These underwear are great to prevent leakage from transferring through to your pants. The leak-proof section covers the entire front area. And it extends up to the mid-buttocks area. They won't prevent complete "swamp but" sweat from transferring, but as long as the sweat is coming from the crotch area, you will be good, and outer garments will remain dry. See pics of front and back of underwear. The underwear are comfortable. They are slightly snugger than the typically mediums I order, but they feel fine.
