It’s hard to think of a better value than this classic Timex design for $30 (Prime Day price). At 38mm, it’s the biggest size I can comfortably wear on my 6.5-6.75” wrist. It’s dressy enough to wear with a nice outfit, and it should wear in well enough to wear casually, too. The leather strap comes a little stiff, but that’s to be expected and should break in nicely. The hardware on the strap matches the case, a nice and shiny metal finish. The dial is a really nice deep blue and the numbers are easy to see. And the Indiglo is just so so easy to use. No need to worry about lume or other silliness—just press in the crown and the entire dial glows except the numbers and hands. The photo I posted makes the dial seem really textured. It is a little but less so than it appears in the photo. Overall, a terrific watch. Read more

This is a perfect watch. These days the love of a good watch has been lost to the easy prevalence of cell phone time. Granted, a time piece on the arm is not necessarily needed, but for the group of people who desire this it is oh so mandatory. And this rugged, good looking Timex makes me feel dressed. It looks damn good, keeps perfect time and is near impossible to break. As a woman the size of this man’s watch is perfect, not dainty but rugged. Easy to read and the blue face lights up with the push of a button. Though inexpensive, this watch dresses up every single outfit I wear. Not everyone wears watches but if you do I recommend the blue faced leather band Timex. It is elegant, smart looking and I feel naked without it. Read more

This is my second Timex purchase in the last few months. I previously purchased an 'Expedition' model and was quite impressed with the quality. However, I'm in my 70s and wanted a watch with larger, more well-defined numerals. This 'EZ Read' model was exactly what I was looking for. What surprised me was the appearance of the timepiece. It actually looks similar to much more expensive models by other makers. The blue face with white arabic numerals really 'pop' and are easy to read, even without glasses. The leather/gator armband is really handsome and comfortable. It keeps perfect time. One caveat about the 'indiglo' function. Use it sparingly. It will drastically shorten battery life if you like to 'play' with it. Read more

It's a decent watch, a good size and a nice design. The backlight is a great help at night. The watch's problems are the sound and the strap. The second hand is noisy and can be a bit annoying. The strap isn't very comfortable; when adjusted, it feels either too tight or a little loose. In conclusion, I recommend it for the price. The watch's quality is good, and it looks more expensive than it actually is. If they could make it quieter, it would be perfect. Read more

Nice looking watch, and super comfortable to wear. The dial is easy to read, and I love the color of the watch face combined with the watch band. The leather band is very soft on the wrist and it feels like nothing's there. Price was very reasonable as well. Much cheaper on Amazon than what retail stores were trying to sell it for. Read more

I bought this instead of a $600 watch, because this is more elegant and I love its minimalist lines and curves. I would have loved an open heart, or a sun & moon dial, but it's really distracting. I can tell time in an instant with this watch. The quartz movement in this watch is amazingly accurate. Quartz watches are the least-expensive, and very economical to maintain. The beige-colored dial is reminiscent of old parchment. The numerals are sharp and easy to see. This is a larger Easy Reader at 38mm. Most are 35mm. These watches have an audible ticking sound, which I like, but some find it distracting. The leather watch band fits wrist sizes from 5.8 inches to 7.5 inches and they are made of excellent quality leather. You can change the buckle, so don't forget to match the finish to your watch if you swap it out. Since these watches run on a battery, there are very few moving parts. You can learn to change out the old battery yourself; just do a YouTube search on how to do it, and buy yourself a watch repair tool kit for under $15.00 (in the year 2025). If you take care of this watch, it will last for several generations and hundreds of battery changes. And it sure beats paying out several hundred dollars on periodical servicing for a mechanical watch. Read more

So far so good! No problems to report. Keeps the time and lights up in the dark. Clip holds up remarkably well and it's inexpensive enough to get another if something happens to it. Good buy, recommend. Read more
