The media could not be loaded. This has quickly become one of my favorite base products. The TIRTIR Mask Fit Tone Up Essence in Beige gives my skin an instant healthy, brightened look without looking heavy or cakey. The texture is lightweight and smooth, almost like skincare, and it blends effortlessly into the skin. I love how it evens out my skin tone while still looking natural. It doesn’t settle into pores or fine lines and feels comfortable all day. My makeup sits beautifully on top of it, but it also looks great on its own for a natural, “your skin but better” finish. Another big plus is how well it lasts — even after hours of wear, my skin still looks fresh and not oily or dry. If you’re looking for a tone-up product that feels luxurious, wears well, and actually improves the look of your skin, this is absolutely worth it. I will definitely repurchase Read more

I bought both the lavender and the beige. I like both and use both at the same time. I use this tone up essence in place of a primer under foundation and it works really well. Why do I use both at the same time? I have a strange situation: My face is lighter than my neck, and my neck is darker than my decolletage. On top of that, my face and decolletage are neutral undertone but my neck has yellow undertone. The lavender works well on my neck, neutralizes the yellow, and the beige works well on my face, and this way, my face, neck, and decolletage are the same undertone and similar in color. Sometimes, if my face looks tired or sallow, I use the lavender on it as well. This essence is VERY liquid-y, so I am very careful, barely putting any pressure on the pump. But this quality means the product applies and spreads really well. I can put on 2 or 3 layers of this essence and there is no pilling. Also, it works well over my skincare and under every one of my cushion, cream, and liquid foundations. Also, even though I am pretty pale, other tone up products made me look ghostly white. This product does not, it just melts into the skin but leaving behind brightened and evened skin and a natural glow. I have combination-to-oily skin, this essence does a decent job keeping the oil at bay. I don't think the product is supposed to do this but it does. It also keeps foundation from oxidizing, which is great. Bonus, this essence has a physical sunscreen which is great for me because I can be allergic to chemical sunscreens. Suggestion for application: don't rub the product until it dries or disappears, just spread a light layer over the face and let it dry down. I have been using Asian cosmetics and skincare for probably 8 years (I have friends and family in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan), including multiple tone up creams and essences which have long been popular in those countries. Still, I have not used a product that has all the qualities of this tone up essence. Unless I find something similar and better, I will be repurchasing both shades of this product. Definitely can recommend! Read more

I can only use this in the winter. In my teens and 20s and part of my 30s I had very oily skin and this would not have worked. But all through my mid to late 30s 40s and 50s I've had normal and now a bit dryer skin. I would have loved this all along but I just discovered it. It feels greasy going on, but it dries. It's very fair so if you have medium or darker skin it won't work. I slather it on clean skin and then in a minute when it's dry I do my concealer and the cream bronzer and blush. It gives you a glowy dewy look which is hard to get in the winter. It has a light, not great scent at first but completely goes away in a minute. It lasts all day, it provides light coverage, (sheer?) But you can layer other foundation on top of and still enjoy the glowy dewy look. And it's affordable. I've grown to love tir tir products. I wish they made this in a darker shade. It works great as a primer! If you are light to fair and have slightly dry skin, you have to try this. Read more

Seriously the best makeup primer and stand alone with sunscreen out there! Lasts a long time and gives a subtle blurring effect and shine to my skin. It will not work for medium to dark skin tones but if you are fair like me this is great. It can stick slightly to dry flaky skin but not too bad. It rubs in easily. There is no excuse not to apply sunscreen with this as an option! On days I will be out in the sun longer I do apply an SPF 50 PA++++ underneath as the protection could be better but for days when you won’t be in the sun significantly this works well. It also reapplies well. Read more

The first thing I noticed was the overpowering floral/botanical scent once I put it on my face, but it does slowly go away through the day. It clings to any slight dry patches you have (and my face it normally really oily so I rarely have any) and it never really fully absorbs into the skin and get on your clothes and hands. I tried it with a translucent powder to try and set it but it just made it cakey and pasty almost, and even then it still would move around my face instead of staying where I applied. Read more

I ordered not really knowing what it would do. The description wasn’t very good. I wanted something I can wear that would give me the appearance of some coverage. It has a strong chemical smell right off the and one pump is more than enough. It’s definitely made for fair skin. It does take away some redness away but it feels like it has a ton of sunscreen in it that gives it that white look. It takes a lot of rubbing in to get it to not make me look like Morticia Adams. I am quite light complected so this was odd for me. I’ll use it because I bought it but I wouldn’t purchase it again. The first picture is without it and the second is with it. I wouldn’t say it evens tone out at all. Read more
