My review is for the Size: Large / 12-14 | Color: Fancy Cat This is our 2nd ToBeInStyle purchase. We came back to this brand because it's my daughter's favorite underwear. She got to a point where she refused to wear any other brand. Our first choice, ASIN B012U32LCO, is NLA so we decided to try this style. I'd previously read reviews left on other ToBeInStyle products and they suggested that their products run very small. My daughter is 5. She weighs 44 lbs and is 113 cm or 3'7 ft tall. (Chest 23; Waist 22; Hips 23). She looks more like a 7-year-old child. She typically wears the medium in the children's sizes. For this order, I ordered one size up, a Large. Ordering 1 size up worked perfectly for us. These fit loosely and comfortably. They don't fall off but they don't constrict her either. You should be aware that over time the imagery will fall off. This doesn't bother my daughter as she likes them for their comfort, not the imagery. Love these! They're a little bit big for my 4 year old daughter who normally wears size 5 & I expected that. Super soft & comfy! These are perfect to go under dresses...not too long to show underneath, but they do have almost a 2" inseam. Read more

These are soft and comfortable and have plenty of stretch. But I cannot get them to stop bleeding dye. After I accidentally washed the pink pair with other laundry and it bled all over, I washed just the new pack of underwear twice in warm water with multiple color catchers each time. Then today my daughter wore the pink pair outside while splashing in rain puddles. She now has a dyed bright pink bum. So that particular pair has been washed once on cold and twice on warm with color catchers. I'm going to try one more wash on hot with several more color catchers and if they continue to bleed so much, I'll just have to toss them. My 12 yr old loves these and this is a follow up to the first review. I noticed another mother had an "odd" experience with staining and this also happened with ours, but only the green pair. Yellow spotting same area. All came back from the laundromat and my first thought was there may have been leftover bleach or coloring detergent in the machine. However, this has happened to many other shirts, even when we had our own washer and dryer; we never use bleach. It could be a hundred different reasons, but I've found hand washing has become the best route to keep from fading, discoloring, shrinking, and to just keep in the best condition for as long as they fit. We are in the 12/14 and will have to find the adult pair soon! Champion also makes a great pair that are well fitting, tagless, and run larger and no cotton. 92% Nylon 8% Spandex whereas these are 85% Nylon and 15% spandex. Read more

My daughter is about to turn 6. She is in the 85% percentile for an American child in weight and height. We ordered Medium and it fits her perfectly. They are very stretchy, so, I expect they will last her all year. Please note my daughter is still wearing a Small at Target, so size up! These things are perfect under her skirts. I don't have to worry as much about her sitting criss-cross-apple-sauce or going on the monkey bars in a skirt or a dress. The various colors makes it perfect for pairing with different alfits. I have washed them twice with no issues. My daughter loves them so much, she is using one pair as her bathing suit bottoms, which surprisingly works really well.
