I have used this product for 3 weeks now and like it. Here are some things I have observed about it. It does not have the sweet smell like the name brands, but that is not important since I am not "sniffing" it. It appears to have the consistency of the name brand and honestly feels the same to the touch but I cannot speak to exact chemical composition of it since I don't have mass spectrometer. As far as working and doing what it is supposed to do, well I need more than 3 weeks, honestly might need a year or 2. Nail fungus is notoriously hard to cure once you have it, and according to my pediatrist "you may die with it" Yes he is a walking ray of sunshine, I guess it comes from looking at feet all day. I was skeptical at first because I’ve tried so many different toenail fungus treatments with little to no results. But this one REALLY works! I thought this product worked real well, but remember you have to file I bought an electric file machine and filed. Did it twice a day and it worked real good my nails looked almost normal but remember if you stop your nails could go back to what they used to be. It is not a cure you need to keep applying. It seems that the strength of the undecylenic acid made the difference for me. The “extra strength” must be the difference. I’ve followed the instructions to the “T” and with consistency. I had used a prescription paint on product for 9 months without much improvement, and I switched to another brand with about half the strength and it helped me for a couple of months, I found this product while looking for a replacement of the product I used for the last couple of months. I don’t have a before picture because it was just too nasty. Now that I’ve switched over for the last 2 weeks, my nails look much better and aren’t like hooves anymore. I think the strength of the product has made most of the difference. Since it’s been almost a year since I started to tackle the problem maybe it’s just been a matter of time. I’ve been consistent with the care and use of medication to get rid of the problem but this product has helped more in the last couple of weeks than the entire previous 11.5 months of effort. The price point is definitely a bonus, the ease of use and the results are definitely a bonus as well. I think I would have had better and faster results if I had started with this product first. I was told by the dermatologist that any product would take time and that consistency was the key to success. I was also told it would probably take months to see results. The prescription was so so and didn’t make as much impact than just a couple of weeks of this product. I give it a big old 5 stars.
