Prior to purchasing this whitening pen online, a friend bought me a pen by the same company just in a different box and container (from a tanning salon). That pen worked very well and prompted me to want to purchase it again. I searched Amazon for the same brand and found this particular whitening pen. It indeed was the same brand name, but not in the same box. When I purchased this one, this brush did not work like the other one. The pen didn't visibly push gel to the top of the brush upon turning the bottom as the instructions direct you to do. Upon sweeping it across my teeth, I could see a little bit of gel, but not to the extent that I knew it was working. I probably wouldn't purchase this exact pen again - the other one that the tanning salon sold definitely worked better and I wouldn't say that they were the same product, despite the common product name.
