I am allergic to mint and this is the ONLY toothpaste I have found that does not contain it. Tom’s of Maine has the monopoly on that as far as I know. I have used it for about 9 years (since identifying the allergy with my allergist and calling about ten companies at least asking if their non-mint flavors of toothpaste did not have mint.....every other company also had mint in those flavors). Granted it has been a long time since I have called these companies but I have not noticed a change in the taste and I have not seen any new non-mint flavors in the stores or on Amazon introduced by any other companies. The taste description is accurate: cinnamon and cloves reminiscent of the taste of the cinnamon Altoid candy as I remember it—although I am fairly sure that does have mint in them. It is not a bad taste if you like those flavors and I do. I will also be using baking soda if they stop making it and like that this has fluoride so I encourage others to give it a try.
