For years, I struggled with a sponge holder that kept falling off. I gave this a try, and it not only looks good, it's been attached to the wall above the sink for some time and has never detached. When the sponge dries, it can stick a little to the metal but it's easy to pull off without the gadget falling into the sink. Read more

Running the sponge through the dish washer is better than microwaving it but CR says to replace them weekly. The holder itself is nice. It works well on completely smooth sinks. My sink is Silestone which is synthetic and has a subtle irregular texture. The suction cups for the holder do not stay stuck on it. So just be aware of that mild limitation. Read more
