There is no better place to put your sink sponge than this high quality chromed holder. It comes with two extra suction cups, yet after two weeks on the job, it has not weakened its grip on the side of the kitchen sink. Sponges are known to harbor bacteria so this holder keeps yours from swimming around the bottom of the sink in the food waste water. Running the sponge through the dish washer is better than microwaving it but CR says to replace them weekly. However, in all cases, the convenience of having your sponge all soapy and handy just inches away is the best benefit of this great kitchen accessory. Highly recommended. Read more

For years, I struggled with a sponge holder that kept falling off. I gave this a try, and it not only looks good, it's been attached to the wall above the sink for some time and has never detached. When the sponge dries, it can stick a little to the metal but it's easy to pull off without the gadget falling into the sink. Read more

Decided to add this for the 'counter' sponge - have one for the dish sponge. It's great - i like that it's open on both sides, as the ad pictured being able to place a 'handled' cleaning utensil in/on it & i don't do that but thought it was a good idea. Not imposing, good color, fit, sticks well, looks nice. yep - 5 stars. Read more

I was excited to get this only to be disappointed. The suction cups don’t stay out. I have to keep pressing them down to hold in place so it won’t fall down. I’m very disappointed. I just may return it. EDIT SINCE MY LAST POST, I have had a change of heart. Two lessons learned here is (1) that sometimes the product works if you know how to do it. As it happened I was contacted by the owner provide me with a method if installation to try. I was open to the idea since I really liked the item even though I thought how difficult can it be to make suction cups stay put. I followed instructions and it’s been about 7 days and it’s still put. So start with a dry surface, before putting in the suction cups have them sit in hot water for a few minutes then as you press push out air bubbles out as though you’re ironing it. It feels childish giving these instructions but not knowing or realizing this made me give the product a less than favorable review and almost return. Final word: lesson (2) exhaust all options if possible and warranted before returning items and leaving a bad review. Read more
