My first topos were fabulous. Then the foam was changed and they wear out too quick. These support better though a little stiff. I liked the previous incarnation of foam in my flylites and phantoms. These still work so they are good. I don't like the nubs on the soles as they get everything stuck in them and do not drop it easily. Read more

Agree with some reviews. The wrap over the ball of your feet is a strange sensation to get used to. I'm generally a true size 7.5 for formal shoes and I generally purchase size 8 for athletic shoes and sneakers. These were quite a bit shorter than I had imagined. Feels like it's just short of a typical 7.5 actually. I would highly recommend going up a half size from your normal athletic shoe size. Otherwise, really love the grip and cushion and support. Used these for camping and hiking. I would have loved a bit of a wider and longer fit to avoid crushing my toes on declines and to accommodate thicker socks occasionally. There's no way you could get away with anything but a very thin wool sock at best with these shoes. Read more
