Extra wide toe box for hiking, grippy tread
This shoe comes in a wide version here that is not available at a popular outdoor equipment store. Wide-toe box shoe designed for hiking with grippy tread and good looks. Wide toe box much more comfortable than Merrill Moab hiking boots. Read more

Still working.
My first topos were fabulous. Then the foam was changed and they wear out too quick. These support better though a little stiff. I liked the previous incarnation of foam in my flylites and phantoms. These still work so they are good. I don't like the nubs on the soles as they get everything stuck in them and do not drop it easily. Read more

I researched before I bought this brand so this is my first pair, have now worn for two hikes and so glad I bought them! The are comfortable and supportive, I like the heel fitting tighter and wide toe box. I can’t speak to the durability yet but I’m happy so far Read more
Not as wide as I had hoped. Size up.
Agree with some reviews. The wrap over the ball of your feet is a strange sensation to get used to. I'm generally a true size 7.5 for formal shoes and I generally purchase size 8 for athletic shoes and sneakers. These were quite a bit shorter than I had imagined. Feels like it's just short of a typical 7.5 actually. I would highly recommend going up a half size from your normal athletic shoe size. Otherwise, really love the grip and cushion and support. Used these for camping and hiking. I would have loved a bit of a wider and longer fit to avoid crushing my toes on declines and to accommodate thicker socks occasionally. There's no way you could get away with anything but a very thin wool sock at best with these shoes. Read more
