Upgraded toilet from round to elongated and decided to also get a washlet seat. Toto is #1 for a reason. Great seat and functions work well, the remote is vague on the info, but you can YouTube it and they explain the functions of the remote well. Install was easy and the warmth of the eldest and water is adjustable so it’s comfortable. It has a self cleaning function where it “sanitizes” the wand and bowl every 8 hours. Surprised me but be prepared for that, it can be shut off though a sequence of buttons on the remote. I just leave mine on. Read more

My husband found this easy to install. He was hesitant to use it at first but has become use to and enjoys the warm seat and cleaniness it provides. I am very happy with the comfort and cleanliness it provides. The quality is better than I expected. No issues with leakage. It has a prerinse that helps keep the toilet cleaner than without it. I find no need to clean the toilet put once a week where as before having the TOTO washlet I had to clean the toilet twice a week. I am spoiled now and hate when I have to use our other bathroom as that seat is sooooo cold this winter! Happy with our TOTO Washlet! Read more

This is my first biget. It was easy to install and the directions are simple to follow. All the needed parts are included in the kit, even the ties to tie up the power cable. The quality to great. It does sit higher on the toilet and the seat is smaller due to the features, and that get a little getting used too. The only challenge is that some of the settings are not as simple or intuitive to setup and use. It does take some reading and trial and error to get the settings you want set. Read more

Check to make sure the toilet lid shuts before securing the Toto Washlet to the toilet bowl, and then installation will be super easy. I watched a YouTube video. The washlet seat warmer is comfortable on medium. The warm water spay is spot on target, moveable front to back and side to side, and leaves the selected area(s) clean! No water mess at all! The washlet can function as a regular toilet seat. A person doesn’t have to use the wash functions, but feeling clean tends to be habit forming. So far, cleaning the toilet bowl and washlet is easy. Read the directions on how to clean before cleaning. Read more

This product leaked. It was NOT any connections I made. The water line into the seat leaked. After looking on reddit others have had this same experience. My plumber tried to add some silicone grease to the connection & it initially helped, but once it was sat on it started leaking again. I'm 240 lbs...so I'm a little heavy, but nothing crazy to where it was me making it leak Read more

This is my second Toto washlet at a cost of almost $1,000 less than the first (bought about 3 years ago). I gave up the auto open/close (which I immediately disabled anyway because my toilet is not in its own closet, and I didn’t like the auto open every time I washed my face, brushed my teeth, or the cat took a stroll). Same thing for the always-on night light: much too bright for my taste. So I really gave up nothing to save some serious money. Most importantly, the seat remains heated . . . and I still live in the Boston area. The remote control has changed for all models, and I think the old model was easier to understand. But the basics remain clear and the less basic details need only be adjusted once (if at all) and then forgotten. The rubber grommets are tight, but there is a trick to making installation easy. First, lightly rinse the grommet in water as a lubricant. Second, install the grommet sightly into the toilet housing. Third, insert one of the provided screws into the grommet and use your Phillips head screwdriver to push the screw and grommet all the way down. Fourth, tighten the screw. Each screw takes about two minutes to install. And, of course, it fits perfectly into any American toilet (I have a Kohler). Two thumbs up for the Toto Washlet S5! Read more
