I don’t review many items but needed to on these. I am 5’8, 170lbs with lots of muscle, minus the mommy tummy. I have a hard time finding shorts that are long enough and shorts that don’t raise up or roll down. I worked Out in these today and wow, no movement. These also held in tight the mommy tummy. I usually wear all black because I sweat so bad in my back side so I took a chance on these. I was unable to see the sweat stains. I’m sure they are also squat proof being they are thick. They almost seem to be mostly of cotton which I don’t usually like but now I’m in love. They are long enough, not showing any goodies and don’t ride up in the goodies area either. I got these shorts in the 5" ice breaker color. There is more orange in it than I'd like (I don't think the orange looks good with the other colors) and almost no aqua, but each pair is probably really different, depending how the fabric happens to be cut. I'm 5'6" and 108# and I got an xs and they fit as expected. Look cute with my navy yoga top. The main thing I don't like about them is they have this big 2.5 inch thick/stiff label that says "Tough Mode" sewed to the outside of one of the pockets. I will probably try to remove it. Read more

I use these for CrossFit. I can see the colors fading a tad but I almost like it more. The fabric feels amazing and similar to the Lululemon leggings I have. They do ride up slightly but not to any uncomfortable degree. Not sure how they'd do on a longer distance run, but I wear loser shorts for that anyway. I've literally never found any shorts that don't ride up at least some so I'm pretty happy with these. I can't see sweat lines in them and they haven't shrunk. Im a a bit of athletic build but 175 lbs, 30inch waist, 71 inches tall and I got a large first (gray one in second pic). It works but it was a little snug. I love these shorts for gym workouts and they are even great for running, but they are not sweatproof, so you will look like you wet your pants if you do much cardio. That being said, the fit is great - they are tight enough to stay put, but are not uncomfortable. The pockets are a great size for your phone or keys (and there are two!). The length is perfect for those who do not want total booty shorts, but they are not "mom shorts" either. Overall, I really like the shorts, but I do not run in the pair that are not black. High waisted to hold you in and doesn't slip when you run. The legs do ride up as you run, unless your phone is in your pocket. So I think I may carry a phone on each side to keep them down ;) They are super cute and flattering! I am 135lbs and ordered a medium. Read more
