I have purchased many pairs of thermal insulated gloves and have always had the same problem. My fingers slowly feel frozen despite using either woven wool or thermal inserts. One person told me to try using surgical gloves inside the wool insert gloves ( to capture the heat ) and then use heavy insulated gloves as an outer layer. Even this did not work for me! These insulated mittens are totally amazing and are perfect! They are thin ( not bulky ) and are very light weight but my hand and fingers stay perfectly warm no matter how long I remain outside. I would give them 5 stars but the inside of the thumb pulls out when you take them off, especially if your hands are sweaty. Makes it very difficult to get back on. It should be tacked to the end of the thumb on the inside. Otherwise, they keep my hands warm in the arctic cold we have in CT this winter. Read more
