Customers find the caulk tape easy to use and apply, particularly around toilets, and say it works well on tubs.

I just sealed the bathtub and toilet where they meet the floor, and this stuff went on like a dream - and even had a little left over from the one roll of tape. It's thick, but quite flexible and a bit stretchy, so it conforms well to the curve around the front of the toilet pedestal. In an old house like this, the toilet installer had to shim the pedestal to make it level, leaving six or eight millimeters of gap in the front. This hides the gap beautifully. Working in tight spaces, it wasn't always easy to get the mid-line crease of this tape to line up with the junction at the floor. I found that if I folded it in half sticky side out before applying it, I got pretty good alignment. Be careful, though - the adhesive is pretty aggressive, and you might not get a second chance at positioning it after it's made contact. Since the installation is minutes old as I write this, I can't speak to its longevity. It's a good bit thicker than duct tape and the glue seems to do its job well, so I'm not much worried about normal cleaning loosen up the tape or rubbing through it. Based on my experience so far, I'll come back to this whenever I have the same kind of sealing job ahead of me. -- wiredweird Read more
I purchased the Self Adhesive Caulk Tape to seal the seems in my bunnies hutch. I will be putting down a rabbit safe mat on the bottom surface. It was a simple installation. Readjusting to correct placement was easy. Here’s hoping that it remains sealed. Read more

I absolutely LOVE this product because it makes my entire bathroom look much nicer and more sophisticated. The quality of the product is excellent and the seal-ability and durability are fantastic. The only issue that I had is it’s very time consuming to install, and through trial and error, I learned that as you are installing it, you need to constantly pull and stretch the caulk tape in order to get it to seal correctly and get it to “mold” around the curves of your toilet, as you go around the curves of your toilet, you really have to stretch and pull the caulk tape as much as you can and the product will mold around the curves perfectly, and once you’ve installed it, you will be extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend that you start and finish the installation behind the back of your toilet because the end to end pieces didn’t line up evenly for me, but it’s hidden behind the toilet. I also had to constantly smooth the installed tape over and over with the butt end of a putty knife to ensure that it would stick and there wouldn’t be a gap between the toilet and the caulk tape. I would definitely recommend this product if you want to give your bathroom a new look, just remember to plan on it taking time to install. I installed my caulk tape 6 weeks ago and it’s still holding strong. The pictures I attached are after its been installed for 6 weeks. Read more

Sticks great. Will get dirty and have to be replaced. I don't like dirty. It is hard to pull off that's how strong it is. Read more
TOUSEA White Caulk Tape: Looks Good, But Adhesion Issues TOUSEA White Caulk Tape looks promising for quick fixes around your bathtub, countertop, or bathroom. However, real-world experience highlights a significant problem with its adhesion. Pros: Clean Look: The wide, white tape can easily cover gaps and imperfections, creating a tidy, uniform appearance. Easy Installation: The peel-and-stick design promises convenient application without the mess of traditional caulk. Budget-Friendly: Compared to re-caulking, this tape provides a very affordable solution for cosmetic updates. Cons: Poor Adhesion: Unfortunately, many users report that the tape does not stick well, often starting to peel off within days or even hours of application. This makes it unsuitable for areas exposed to moisture. Durability Concerns: With its poor adhesion, the tape is unlikely to provide a long-term solution and will likely require frequent replacement. Overall: While the TOUSEA White Caulk Tape offers an appealing quick-fix idea, its lack of proper adhesion makes it a disappointing product. If you need only a temporary cosmetic cover-up for a gap that won't be exposed to much moisture, it might suffice. However, for any areas requiring a durable solution, especially those prone to moisture, explore other sealing options. Let me know if you'd like recommendations for alternatives! Read more
