I have absolute pitch and can't stand any instruments that are off key. I fully expected this Xylophone to not be on key and I was going to send it back if any of the keys are off. To my surprise, the A sometimes gets stuck and gets a bit sharp, but if I jiggle it a bit it goes back to normal. All the other keys are perfectly on key. My kid really likes banging on the keys because he feels like he's being me playing on the piano. We also do easy songs together like ABC so he can learn the notes. This is a good investment as an early instrument toy. Also, my in-law bought me some Little Tyke model and didn't give me a gift receipt. That piece of ... is going in the trash. Read more

Bought this for our 1yr old granddaughter for Christmas. There were multiple gifts, but this piano/xylophone held it's own. Unbeknownst to us, she had also received a much more expensive electronic xylophone, with all the lights & bells - but this one is the one she goes to. It has a beautiful, clear tone, and a full 8 key range. Right now she primarily uses the piano part, since she is too young to have the 'mallets' unsupervised. Just bought this toy the other day and my girls love it. I love that it comes with the musics notes and it’s great for two kids to play with. The music notes are easy to play with your children. I love the small size. To me, the toy is a bit loud but if you don’t mind a little loudness or have a play room for your children then it’s perfect. I definitely recommend it ! Purchased this in order to finally start my black metal band with the end goal being to summon the dark lord himself. As I drew the pentagram on the stage using fresh ketchup from mauled tomatoes (mom wouldnt let me use ACTUAL blood), the keys on the piano started playing an ominous tone. I walked over to the 2 in 1 Xylophone and picked up with mallets (included with the set) with which I planned on unleashing the terror of the dark lord. As I struck that first key with the mallet in my right hand, the keys on the piano started playing ever more vigorously. Immediately the mallet in my left had was struck by a bolt of lightning and the ketchup pentagram started melting ;into the floor. Behind me the dark lord rose with an electric guitar made of fire resting tightly in his hands. The dark lord grabbed a microphone and yelled "I AM LUCIFER" as he ripped a devilishly intense guitar solo so fast that it melted the faces of everyone in the house. "FOR I AM THE SUMMONER OF THE DARK ARTS!!" I exclaimed as satan's army rocked their faces off to our metal music of death. Lightning struck once more as the ketchup pentagram in the floor turned to fire and we all wail on our instruments, serenading the evil spirits that filled the room. 11/10 highly recommend.
