I have been using Tozo earbuds for several years now (T6 and more recently T12s). Been super impressed with the sound, build as well as battery quality in general. I think their T12 ear buds give Apple airpod Pros a run for their money at fraction of the price. Recently I came across Tozo bluetooth portable speakers and wanted to try them out. I already had the Marshall Emberton II speakers that I really liked, but wanted to get one for my [audiophile] son for his room. I posted a couple of pictures comparing their sizes. PAIRING: Pairing the Tozo was fairly straightforward. Though initially I was trying to pair with the charging cable connected and my Samsung phone couldn't find the speaker, then once I disconnected the charge cable pairing went through. Also downloaded the Tozo app which then discovered the speaker quickly. APP: The Tozo app lets you configure the Equalizer settings of the speaker. It comes with several pre-sets for equalizer setting, but you can customize and save your own based on your liking. Only downside I have see so far is that every time I power down the speaker and connect it later, it doesn't remember my last equalizer setting. I have to open the app and select a setting again, else it just goes to the Standard setting. Hope this can be fixed with a simple software upgrade. SOUND QUALITY: I consider myself an audiophile and have spent quite a bit of money on high end earphones and speakers in the past. I like a good balance between the highs, mids and the lows. Usually the low end speakers tend to get a couple of these but not all 3. I should say I was amazed by the quality of sound from Tozo. I compared it with my Marshall (which cost me 5 times more) and it was comparable or better than the Marshall. Due to a slightly larger size the depth was much better with Tozo than Marshall. Especially once you tweak the equalizer setting with the app the sound is amazing. If you place the speaker at the edge of your room, the rich sound covers the entire big size room without a problem. OTHER GENERAL: It also comes with a small lanyard to connect to one end of the speaker so you can hang it somewhere or makes it easier to carry. The size is a bit larger than I had expected but then again, it is still portable. I can attest to the waterproof-ness or the battery life (will try to update this review down the road) The speaker also comes with the standard buttons to increase/decrease volume, skip songs, etc. There's also a button to cycle through 3 settings of equalizer (Standard, Treble+ and Bass+). Overall I am happy with the quality of products from Tozo. I know there are 1000s of brands of electronics you'll find on Amazon and will be hard to sift through to find the good ones, but give these guys a shot, you'll be surprised with the quality. I was looking for a larger speaker for my listening. (My newer amazon tablet has a tinny sound). So this speaker works So I can hear the sound better. When you turn it on or off it makes a loud sound (almost like a Tada! This I do not like. It is annoying. And this has not volume control. Other then that it works for listening to a audiobook or music. I have some difficulty with connecting it to some of my other items. When it will not connect. The sound is good quality, The play time is great. Read more

This economically priced speaker sounds good. Bluetooth pairs well with my PC, and the battery delivers as promised. This TOZO PA1 is a gift from my daughter, as she is happy with her TOZO, and I needed a mini speaker. Excellent a functionality. I like the potability. Thank you TOZO. Read more

I’m a big fan of Tozo products, for the high quality of the products and the great value, and also the excellent customer support. I have the H2 headphones, the S7 Smart Watch, and recently decided to purchase the PA1 Bluetooth speaker. I’ve really enjoyed the speaker, and wanted to share my review. I really like the shape, and its slim profile makes it perfect to pack in a suitcase or backpack. The sound quality is very good, especially given the reasonable price point. The Tozo app lets you perform a variety of sound equalizer options which is cool. It also has a speakerphone, which is great if you’re listening to music and get a phone call. The controls on the speaker are very intuitive, and it’s also got excellent battery life. Instead of spending a ton more on JBL speakers or other brands, I’d strongly recommend the Tozo PA1 Bluetooth speaker. Read more

The sound for the price is unbeatable. Has good bass, mids and treble, though the treble can be too bright at times. Used to be able to tune the frequencies through the app but now its buggy and requires your location. Factory tune button makes treble too bright or distorts sound. Battery life is alright. On half volume itll last you for about 4 hours. The bad part about this speaker is when you start doing things other than streaming music. Latency is the killer of this speaker. It is almost 2 seconds late on some videos or when playing games on a pc. An aux port would fix that but it doesn't have one. When on youtube, frequently you would have to reconnect when switching videos because no sound would come out. It happens sometimes while streaming music too. If you're only using this for streaming music this is perfect. Everything else, wait for another tozo speaker or get something else. Kinda disappointed because I really like their earphones and thought their speakers would be just as good. These problems didn't really appear until 3 months in of owning them. I even bought 2 of them so i can dual pair them to my phone. Pros Best sound quality for its price Being able to pair 2 if them together Durable from what I seen Loud for their size Cons Terrible latency on some apps/pc Battery life isnt great App sucks Frequently disconnects while switching videos One of the speakers I own started making weird noises 3 months in Only plays mono (though getting 2 and pairing them fixes that) Read more
