This is the best umbrella I've owned. It's an amazingly good value for the money. I got the 46" canopy with 10 reinforced fiberglass ribs. It opens smoothly and quickly and collapses just as fast with the press of a button! I really like the ergonomic handle. I've found that I can hold this umbrella for long periods of time without fatigue. It's wind resistance is quite good. I've used the umbrella in winds up to 20 mph so far, with no adverse incidents. I'll have to see how it behaves with stronger wind gusts, but so far so good. I'm a big guy (190 cm, 85 kilos - 6'3", 185 lbs, with broad shoulders) and have often gotten wet using smaller umbrellas. But this TradMall 46" umbrella works like a charm in keeping me dry even in driving rain. I highly recommend this umbrella. This is a very good umbrella for the price. It's sturdy and well made, doesn't feel cheap, and the open/close mechanism is responsive and quick. It provides good coverage without being huge and hard to walk around with, folds up to a pretty compact size, and the handle is comfortable to hold. It's easy to get back into the slip it comes in, and I like the elastic cord that I can sling around my wrist while holding it. I'm really happy with it overall. I really want to highlight the outstanding customer service of TradMall. They stand behind their product, and care about customer satisfaction. I had this umbrella for over a year, and had used it quite a few times. It held up well in average rainy weather, until last week a sudden strong gust turned it inside out for the first time, and the material tore away from one of the ribs. These umbrellas have a lifetime warranty, so I emailed TradMall and told them what happened. I wasn't even sure they'd answer, but I had a reply within hours. The customer service person I spoke with (Tracy) was friendly and professional, and by the evening of the day I sent the email, they'd placed an order for a replacement umbrella, no questions asked. It is an umbrella it blocks the sun or prevent you from getting wet. It is sturdy enough to last for years. Handle has a good feel in it. It is lightweight. Small enough to fit in a bag. I love it. Final verdict it is a good buy for something that $8 - $10. Why buy it? - It is not expensive - Materials used can last years, you'll probably lose it before you worn it out. -You should not be buying $40 umbrella that will probably do the same job. I wrote the following review when I bought the umbrella. Recently a spoke broke. I contacted Tradmall. They responded immediately and arranged for a replacement. They have the Best customer service. They do what they promise. Can't ask for a better product or better customer service. Original review...... I love this umbrella! I use it every day for sun protection and, of course, when it rains. Since I live in Florida, that means I use it constantly. It never breaks when the wind blows it inside out. I just turn it around and the wind pops it back. It's big enough to keep you dry. It's small and light enough to carry. It's not for a small handbag but I find those umbrellas too small and flimsy to really keep you dry. From my experience with other brand umbrellas, closing this type of umbrella is difficult. They have a button to open and close. But to really close it you have to push the handle in. I had to push the others against a wall or sidewalk and it was still difficult. This umbrella is tight but I can still close it with my own strength.... and I'm older with arthritis in my hands. I keep this umbrella in my bag all the time, and it has saved me more than once during unexpected rain. It’s compact when folded and fits easily into a regular handbag, but once opened, the canopy is large enough to keep you properly dry. The only downside - during strong wind with heavy rain it can flip inside out since the ribs aren’t very heavy-duty. However, for normal rainy weather it works perfectly and is very convenient for everyday use. Read more
