Experienced hammock user for decades of sleeping nights in all temperatures and daytime napping. My requirements include sleeping comfort and frame esthetics meaning looks and function for both use and frame need to offer best possible options. The frame is engineered well and uses quality SS/Inox. There's a lot of thought put into how it works and looks. The hammock replaces a 5 plus plus star Central American cotton string beauty I've used for years and replaced once every decade. By buying this product I replaced it and the lengthy frame for this product for its compactness, quality and 'knitted' like polyester (yellow) hammock. Living in Florida a hammock needs to withstand humidity and be comfortable. This product is not as beautiful as the intricate lacey sides and cotton weave feel of my old one but being yellow was a BIG plus and the fabric does feel airy, promises to withstand the humidity and has enough 'give' to come close to the feeling of the weave of the cottony knit of my former one. Highly recommend if you don't mind being close to the ground (which makes standing up harder) but enjoy the convenience of a great hammock and compact frame. Hats off to the designers. Read more

Flimsy, and the web site description is false.

Flimsy, and the web site description is false. The description claims the length is up to 121 inches. This is false. The maximum length possible is only 113 inches. This also causes the suspension points to be very close to the ground, making the stand useless. I uploaded a detailed video showing what junk this thing is, but they deleted it. So, some photos, showing the short-by-8-inches length, the thin flimsy sharp dangerous metal with burrs, and rust on their "stainless steel". Total junk. Read more
