My son has been talking about transformer toy for the entire month of December. He saw this one whilst we were browsing and I bought it for him as a Christmas gift. It’s great and he loves it however i didn’t read enough to see that it wasn’t voice activated none the less we showed him how to transform it and turn it back and he got it after one try. In my opinion the size is fine. It is normal sized. Ages 6 and up should be okay the head does come off so that’s a small part to look into. I bought the Transformers Heroic Optimus Prime for my kid, and I’m honestly blown away by the quality. The figure is a solid size at 11 inches and feels sturdy in the hands—nothing cheap or flimsy about it. The transformation from robot to truck is smooth and satisfying, and my kid picked it up quickly even though it looks complex at first. The details on Optimus Prime are awesome. The colors are vibrant, the sculpt looks just like the classic character, and it really has that nostalgic, old-school Transformers feel. The media could not be loaded. This Optimus Prime transformer is very easy to manipulate into robot mode and back into car mode and visa versa. The quality of the toy is also greater than expected the plastic feels durable and long lasting. Very Cute there are attention to details on the robots head and of course the car details throughout the action figure. There are no accessories for the action figure it just comes with Optimus Prime, it was securely fastened in nits box and well packaged for transport. It is 11" just as the box says it is and I think the age range should be 3 years old and up. There aren't any small parts that are loose and it is a great fit for boys who are looking for action figures that aren't tiny. Really looking forward to seeing how this thing holds up and I will keep you all updated. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and especially the quality of the action figure Optimus Prime. Got this for a Christmas present and so glad that I did. Also the instructions for how to fold it into the truck are included on the box. OMG my son is obsessed with this toy and the Bumblebee version! This has been the only set of toys that he will play with for days on end for hours on end. he loves taking them on adventures with us. You will learn how to transform them quickly and become a pro in not time. Optimus Prime does have one motion that is hard for my 4 year old to do, but other than that, he is able to transform him himself. Read more
