It can hold a lot more items than many of the traditional travel bags that I have seen; in stores and on Amazon. It has zippered pouches in most of the compartments, so it's great for airplane travel and holding your items in place in your checked luggage! It would be great on any trip; even shorter weeekend trips. It's very durable, zips up well, and will keep your things safe and snug and you don't have to figure out other places to put all your items, because they all fit in this one bag! It even has a great jewelry compartment in one of the compartments, and has great places made to put earrings and necklaces, rings, etc. I really like this bag alot! I LOVE this toiletry bag. I'm going on a cruise in July and this bag will be going with me. It will hold all my cosmetics, hair products, toothbrush and toothpaste, travel perfumes, cotton swabs, etc. I like the hook for hanging and the different storage compartments. I use this SO MUCH. Bought years ago when we had to live with family while our house was renovated. I can fit so much stuff in here it’s insane. All my jewelry too which is the best part. And it hangs from a hook perfectly. Color is still good. Easy to get the things out as it zips from top and bottom. Which actually makes it to where you can fit more.
