This umbrella has to be one of the best I have ever owned. It's very sturdy when open. It's solid. It doesn't even flicker in the wind. It's so strong. It opens easily. It just doesn't close easily. That's its biggest downside. But, you are likely to let it dry out before closing so at least you won't get all wet trying to do it. It's just hard to shove back into the locking position. This is a really well made umbrella that looks like it will go the time and distance. There is nothing "flimsy" about it. It unfolds easily and the lower button collapse it so it can be folded back to its compact size. If you're looking for something really comp[act then this isn't for you.
