Satisfactory, but not excellent
I bought this umbrella to keep in my bag for school, and it seems to be small enough (though larger than I imagined) to serve this purpose. It will automatically open at the press of a [rather stiff] button on the handle, giving me enough protection from the rain to keep both me and my bookbag out of the rain. This umbrella lacks an auto-close feature, so you'll have to close it by hand. This umbrella may not be the best out there, but I'd say it's still a steal for the price at which it's being offered. Avoid! Opened once, never to open again!
Cheap and failure-prone. I received my umbrella in new condition. I pressed the button to open it, and it opened as expected. I pulled the slide to the closed position, and upon locking down the release button jammed and will not activate, no matter how much it is pressed. Return. Read more
