Very Happy with the Odin Treat Puzzle!

CustomerMarch 23, 2017

This is a great toy/activity for our dog - a 50 pound female black lab. It's durable and is a hard rubber, with just enough give to put the treats inside fairly easily. I suppose if you have an especially chewy dog or a destructive dog, they could tear it apart as some reviewers have said. But, if your dog is not a big time chewer, this will give them plenty to do for a while....we put in a small handful of kibble and our dog will roll this around for a good hour trying to get them out. We've had this toy for about 4 months and she still enjoys it....If she tires of it, she'll rest and then a while later will spot it again and begin rolling it around again....It's one of her favorites..... Only a little Lame

CustomerNovember 2, 2025

EDIT: I discovered that, in addition to kibble or other small treats, you can jam in a larger really stinky treat that your dog will never be able to get out. Under those conditions, my puppy seems VERY Interested in the toy and it sustains his attention for a few hours off and on all day (since the 1 smelly treat never comes out). He really seems like this toy now. So I'm changing my prior review (below). This is still kind of a stupid toy, but both my puppy and I do now see some value in it. He carries it outside with him while he pees, which is a pretty strong endorsement, I'd say ORIGINAL: 1 star. This product is stupid... I'm not sure what else to say. Even my dog seems confused by it. He looks at me like, "that's it?", because it is the most underwhelming of all of his toys (including an empty Mac & Cheese box). It is difficult to load and doesn't provide any guidance on what size kibble is optimal. If you want an overpriced polygon that dispenses dog food all over your floor, this is for you. Read more

Super happy with it

LoJanuary 16, 2018

My dog LOVES this toy. If there were more options I would but them all! It keeps her entertained on and off all day. She's a chewer so she's taken a few chunks out of it but that's been after a couple months of playing with it. The only down side is that she knocks it around the house and loses it at times - because of the dark color and the fact it matches my house ill spend 10 minutes just trying to find it. Super happy with it, thanks! Read more

Great idea, poor execution for power chewers

Stephanie A. NelsonJanuary 1, 2018

It lasted all of 5 Days. Granted my dog is a pretty big chewer, but I was really hoping this one would make it a bit longer. Read more

Choking hazard

RCPOctober 20, 2024

This toy has a great design. However, I am returning it because after 5 minutes of use, my 20 pound 8 month old puppy almost ripped a tab off. The rubber is too thin for strong chewers. It has the potential to be a choking/obstruction hazard. Disappointing as the design is great and my pup seemed to enjoy it while it lasted. Read more

You and your dog need this!

Amanda JarvisMay 12, 2025

I’m on our 3rd one… not because they’re bad but because they’re AMAZING (& I keep giving them to others’ dogs who instantly love them)! Keeps the dogs interactive with family members when it’s playtime, or by themselves when everyone needs a break. No one has chewed through one yet, and it goes IN THE DISHWASHER (!!) for easy de-dogging. Highly recommended! Read more
