I needed something to listen to audiobooks in the shower. This fits nicely on a shelf on my bathroom wall and has good volume and clarity to hear over the sounds of the water. Nice and portable if I want to continue listening as I walk around the house. Read more

I most often use it for listening to music and singing in the shower and it works beautifully. It's good sounds quality for the size and price, and easy to carry around. Battery life is good, the longest I've needed it for was about 3 hours and it wasn't even halfway drained. Read more

Easy to get started, clear sound, strong enough base tones, good battery life. I do wish it had volume control and an equalizer, but otherwise, good for the money. Read more

I bought two of them and they effortlessly paired together. The sound quality on them are very good when you use two together. The volume is also pretty decent when paired, with two of them I only ever use them around 40% volume and they are audible in the whole room. I was surprised by the batteries longevity as I used them right out of the box without charging them for about 6-7 hours. Read more

Connecting to my phone was easy, no app required. The sound is good, it's loud enough for my taste. I like the look, it doesn't take up much space, and it's small enough to carry in a bag if I want to take it somewhere. No complaints. This works perfectly for my purposes. Read more

More like 3.5 stars. I bought this as the result of reading some reviews on web sites I trust. I'm not quite as enthusiastic as the reviewers. I use it in the bathroom for showering and shaving. A lot of what I listen to is NPR news. I have a pair of speakers that cost about the same each as this one that are noticeably superior. I'd rate this one as not as good as the Tribit X-sound Go speaker I had a few years ago. It is loud enough to play in the shower. The sound quality is fair. It doesn't make any effort to play frequencies it can't. The sound isn't distorted at the levels I listen at. I haven't found an EQ set up that balances the frequencies to what I'd like. In general uppper midrange and high frequencies are over represented in all the EQ presets in the Tribit app. I haven't had the energy to experiment at length. Note, I don't expect low bass response in a speaker this size. I would like to see more in the 100 to 200 Hz octave. One difficulty I have may not be the fault of the speaker. I use it with a Raspberry Pi LMS client and the Bluetooth pairing is not consistent. I sometimes have to pair it manually even though the Pi remembers it as previously paired. This may be due to the Bluetooth implementation on the PI. All in all it's a decent speaker but not outstanding. Read more
