This tripod is a must-have accessory for Flip UltraHD owners; easy to install, sturdy and flexible, the tripod eliminates the shakes of handheld video production. The tripod comes with optional sets of colored feet in white, yellow, orange and hot pink. The extra feet are a nice addition, both functional (no scratching the table) and fashionable (four color options). The tripod screws into the bottom of the Flip UltraHD and provides as much as a 5-inch lift to the camera, depending on how you bend the legs of the tripod. I purchased this as my wife's Christmas present but it never made it under the tree. She loves the Flip and the tripod. Don't cheat yourself by buying a lower-priced (lower-quality) tripod. This tripod for the Flip Ultra is very good and I highly recommend it. Small hand movements look huge when you playback your videos on a large screen TV. It makes your videos look much better when the Flip is steady and not moving all the time. The price is great and the quality is excellent. It is well made and feels like it will last the lifetime of the Flip. It attaches easily to the mount on the bottom of the Flip and comes with extra sets of feet in colors so it will match your camcorder. It is five inches tall and the legs are infinitely adjustable. The legs will also grasp objects so you can put the Flip on a stable mount just about anywhere. Although, I would not use this method on anything that is moving, it doesn't grip tight enough for that. There are other mounts you can get to fasten the Flip to bikes and helmets. Read more

I don't know what everyone else is thinking. But most of the reviews sound like this is the only tripod they've ever used, so they feel obliged to give it a "5-Star review". Seriously, there's much better out there. I've used this tripod for a week, and it's irritating. Pros: -Inexpensive -Branded to match -Flexible legs -Comes with different colored tips Cons: -Can't really adjust the tripod to make the camera sit anywhere but straight on -Legs do not hold shape -Feels cheap I find it kind of a big deal that I can't make the camera tip back and point a little upward since it's on such a short tripod. Alas this isn't possible with the flimsy legs that aren't long enough to support it at a backward tilt angle, and lets that can't hold shape. Read more

I have enjoyed the simplicity and incredible quality of my new HD Flip. I am still trying to figure out how to transfer the humongous ammounts of data involved with mp4 but I am sure there is a simple solution somewhere. The image and sound are excellent and operation is a breeze. My only gripe is that there seems to be no choice other than a USB port to charge these babies. No computer on hand means no Flip when the battery dies. This could be a problem for those who travel or do not own a laptop. All in all, this is one of the best gadgets I have bought in a long time.
