We have three indoor cats. There's a good amount of fur around. It does a reasonable job of picking up the fur but the problem is cleaning it out. You pop open the back handle to clean the fur out of the little opening but the fur never makes it to the opening. It gets stuck on the edges of the lint brush and you end up having to scrape it off with your fingernails which is not very helpful because it doesn't pick up much before you have to do that. There is another brand here on Amazon that does a lot better. I can strongly recommend the chom chom roller hair remover as it is very easy to clean the hair out and will collect a lot of hair before you really need to clean it. Yes it's $10 more but it's $10.
