The ongoing joke in our household is how we can take all the dog fur and make another dog. When I use the dust mop, it's amazing how much dog hair we can pick up. But getting it off the furniture and the bed is a whole new challenge. Those roller things that have sticky tape on them just don't cut it. I’ve hesitated to pick up one of these pet hair gloves because I assumed they were just a gimmick. I was wrong. I tested it out on one of the most troublesome areas in my home, which is my bed. In the wintertime I cover our bed with a burgundy velour blanket, and our two black and white Cavalon dogs leave evidence of their long fur on it every day. I usually just take it outside and shake it. The fur remover glove was a hit! Not only did it remove the dog fur, but it removed the dust and lint that collects on my favorite winter blanket too! I cleaned the whole thing in just a couple of minutes, and then went to turn the glove over to see what it captured, I was tickled to see that the glove collected it all in one big long glob for me to easily remove and throw away! The glove itself is extremely durable and made from high quality materials that will endure years of use and plenty of washings. Because I have not yet spent ample amounts of time to determine whether or not the part of the glove that actually removes the fur will last for years, I can’t attest to that personally, so I will continue using it until it doesn't work anymore. It fits literally like a glove, and there are extensions for your fingers to reach down into which gives you an exceptionally good grip on the glove when you're trying to clean. I think this is a great pet hair removal tool. The package included a thank you note that definitely makes me feel valued as a customer. I really appreciate that extra touch. There are also instruction included, which is nice. It seems to be sturdy and I loved the individual finger slots because it helps contour the glove as needed. It got into the button holes of the cushion easily. The extra wrist strap would help someone with a bigger hand still have control. It holds its shape perfectly for flat surfaces but it’s flexible enough to get into crevices. The hair ends up in the middle. It was a little more difficult than I thought it would be to get the hair off, but at least it holds onto it and doesn’t let it fly around when picking up to reposition. It got about 80-90% of the hair off the cushion. One tip is that you don’t have to press hard. I found myself pressing hard. You don’t need to. Just glide it over the surface back and forth.
