I've been using these for about a year now for mostly stretching as I recover from ACL surgery. They work great and I don't feel like they will snap on me. They feel well made and give great resistance for stretching or working out. The material appears to be holding up just fine and I don't see any concern in the near future of them falling apart. They cost a bit more than some of the others but you get what you pay for. I'd rather buy once and not worry than buy something cheap and have it possibly injure me from being made from cheap materials and snapping. I ordered both a full set and a number of miscellaneous bands to pair with the Grip It kit (handles). For those that don’t know, TRX is a legitimate commercial brand used in many health clubs across the US. My suspicion is that most of their manufacturing (at least of bands & balls) happens in China, but the quality is good and you tend to get what you pay for. These bands + TRX Grip It Kit + Muscle Kik Wall Anchors = A $8,000 Free Motion / Dual Cable Cross Machine (at a substantially lower price in dollars and square feet). While maybe a bit pricier than some other bands, I’m happy with the quality & value. For a mild premium, the TRX brand gives me peace of mind for equipment being used by the rest of the family.
