It worked great for about 2 weeks then it started getting connection issues. It started with disconnecting when the game was paused and having to turn the Bluetooth on my phone off and on to reconnect. Then one day I couldn't reconnect at all. After some troubleshooting I was able to reconnect but the buttons were scrambled. It also jumps between paired device setting- ex. It should automatically pair for android (1 light bar) but it's randomly at 3 or 2. No matter what I do I can't get the buttons to go back to their original function either. Read more

So, I picked up this turbX Mini controller because my son has smaller hands and was having trouble with full-sized controllers. The gradient galaxy design looked really cool, and the compact size seemed perfect for what we needed. Initially, I was impressed. The controller feels surprisingly solid for its size, and the ergonomics are actually quite good for smaller hands. The RGB lighting and charging stand are nice touches that make it feel more premium than the price would suggest. Setup was easy - just paired right up with our Switch via Bluetooth. The problem is longevity. After maybe 3-4 weeks of regular use, it just stopped working properly. Started with occasional connection drops, then the left stick began acting up, and finally it wouldn't hold a charge. I'm not sure if we got a dud or if this is a common issue, but for something that costs $50, I expected it to last longer than a month. At this price point, you're getting close to what you'd pay for a Pro Controller, which is built like a tank and will last for years. The mini size is nice if you need it, but there are other compact controllers out there for less money that might be more reliable. Cool concept and design, but the execution falls short when it comes to durability. I'd recommend looking at other options unless you specifically need the small form factor and don't mind potentially replacing it sooner than you'd like. Read more

I bought this for my children. Fits their hands great… that’s the only reason I give it a star. The buttons are not correct, they’re backwards compared to any other controller and even playing the video game they’re wrong…. I would not recommend purchasing. Read more

While this is a smaller controller, I don’t feel like it’s too small to be uncomfortable. I got this controller so I can have a more compact one to travel with. So far it’s been working great, the 6 axis gyro sensor works very well similar to what I would expect with the Switch pro controllers. The joy sticks and buttons react immediately and have no lag. One thing I want to point out is that the joy sticks feel like they are sitting much higher than what you would find on the Switch pro controllers. That means going between the joysticks and the buttons will be challenging. It’s not impossible to get used to which is why I didn’t deduct any points. Lastly, you will need to pair the controller with the Switch using a USB C cable method. I tried several times to wirelessly pair the controller with the console with no success. It wasn’t until I plug in the cable is when the Switch recognizes the controller. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a small controller for the Switch. Read more
