Turkish Beach Towel - 100 Organic Cotton - Soft Quick-Dry Sand Proof Prewashed - Lightweight Oversized for Beach

I bought the Turtlebay (Navy) version of the Turkish beach towel and couldn’t be happier with it. The color looks even better in person!! Clean look, nice colors, and has held up well after washing without any color fading. It really surprised me how substantial it feels for how lightweight it is. I’ve used other Turkish towels before that felt a little too thin, but this one strikes a great balance. It’s soft right out of the package, absorbs water well, and dries much faster than a traditional towel. After washing, it actually felt even nicer. I took it to the beach on vacation recently and the sand resistance is real. A quick shake and the sand fell right off. It also folds down small enough to fit easily in my backpack, which made it great for traveling with. I am actually using it much more than expected... worked great at the beach, showering at the gym, even just draped over a chair. It feels well made, no loose threads after multiple uses, and overall just thoughtfully designed. Definitely feels like a quality product and worth the price. This towel is lightweight, soft, and quite large, e.g., suitable for using as a thin blanket. The material, craftsmanship, color, pattern, etc. - all very nice. As others have mentioned, however, it's not very absorbent, e.g., not nearly the level of absorbency as a thick terrycloth towel. So this would be perfectly fine as a general purpose beach towel, but I would not recommend using it as a bath towel per se. Overall, a good value for a solidly-made, large beach towel, if you are ok with it not being very absorbent. Read more

I love this Turkish beach towel. I brought it with me on a trip to Maine at the end of the summer and it was perfect for packing as it was lightweight and easily rolled to fit in my luggage. The cotton material is soft and thin and has a high quality look and feel. I love the color and that the weave is reversed on the back side. The thin cotton dries much faster than traditional beach towels. Read more

I know these towels are meant to be thin but for the price of this I just don’t feel the price is worth it. The material fades when washed and it’s not a soft material. It does absorb water and dries fast but I feel like that is the only good quality to this Towel. The turtle is cute and it’s not a heavy towel. I just wouldn’t buy it again for the price. Read more

I was originally not a fan of Turkish towels as I preferred thicker bath towels that absorbed more water. But I then came to realize that perhaps I was using Turkish towels in the wrong scenario. I ordered a Karettas Turkish towel because I liked their designs and it made sense to use them at the beach, camping, or at a pool. These scenarios are perfect for a lightweight towel that is soft to the touch and dries quickly when left out in the sun. Their biggest plus is that they are easy to pack up and travel with - something that traditional beach or bath towels cannot do. The quality of the Karettas Turkish towels is also high - well made, pleasing designs, and a tight weave that should last for quite some time.
