I do a lot of hobby writing, so I have tried a variety of keyboards over the years. This one... wasn't intended for that. I dislike the default keyboards they give us where I work work (flat, non-responsive) so I bought a cheap keyboard out-of-pocket that was slightly better... and when that one wore out, I decided I should buy a better-but-still-inexpensive keyboard. That's where I found this thing. I use mechanical keyboards at home, but normally they'd be too expensive to want to leave at work. I was skeptical that this keyboard would be up to par with my home ones, but figured that it would be just fine for work. I was greatly surprised. This isn't a $200 keyboard, but it's way better than it has a right to be. It's highly responsive, the key switches have a satisfying click to them, the keyboard itself has a good, solid weight to it. I'm always a fan of full 108-key boards when sitting at a proper desk. I love the typewriter-style keys, it feels like there's a bit more control over everything. My one complaint is the RGB settings: although the keyboard includes multiple different layouts and patterns, there's no option to completely change the RGB colors. If I could, I would prefer to set all the LEDs to white light, a little less distracting in the workplace. There's an option to turn the lights off completely, but the keys are a bit hard to read without any light. Funny enough, the keyboard has attracted a lot of attention from my co-workers. The typewriter-style keys and the mechanical clickiness seem to draw people to it. I believe at least two of them have ordered their own after letting them try some typing on mine. This, I think, is a great mechanical keyboard, not just "for the price," but the price is a wonderful starting point for finding out how you feel writing on a mechanical board and experiencing the clickiness and bounce that define them. I don't have as much to say about the mouse except to say it's also responsive, it's comfortable, it feels like it's made of quality materials. It doesn't have the heft of a gaming mouse, and I haven't tested it in a gaming environment, but hey, it works great for spreadsheets and word documents! The mousepad also feels nice, though with laser mice I don't use pads very much aside from aesthetics, and this one is quite plain in that regard. Read more

I love the look of this keyboard. The industrial shape and sleek metal look paired with typewriter keys is truly a spectacle. Add to the appearance of sound and I was blown away. I love the typewriter sound. The keys are easy to press and respond nicely. Key caps will also fit on this keyboard and are easy enough to install. The mouse doesn’t match the keyboard in appearance. This wasn’t a big deal for me because mice and typewriters didn’t go together. I will say that the mouse feels comfortable and reacts like a standard mouse. The mousepad was a little extra piece that I wasn’t expecting. It looks good and goes with the mouse. It reacts just like a mouse pad should. Read more

I loved the look of this keyboard. I'm old enough to have learned how to type on a manual typewriter with this type of keyboard. I gave it 4 stars because I'm left handed and the mouse is for right handed people. I wondered why the buttons on the left side were placed there where my fingers kept hitting them. I also was surprised and sad that the keyboard and mouse were not wireless. The keyboard I saw at my local bank was wireless. The next disappointment was on a manual typewriter you type with your wrists up high because of the amount of effort it takes to get the key to hit the platen. Over the years on computer keyboards it's best to put your wrists down when typing. It's now a firm habit of mine. I tried it out and after about 10 minutes the tips of my fingers began to be sore because of the way my wrists are down and the way the keys are ringed. I never even considered this when I saw it. I think this is such a cool, steam punk, type of keyboard for gamers more than a typist. Obviously I didn't read the caption. I haven't decided yet if I'll eat the cost my error in choosing it or return it. I will have to throw away the super cool looking mouse. (sniff sniff) Read more

Keyboard is awesome. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition, hooked right up to our PC. The back lights are fun and easy to see and the typing has an old school typewriter feel and sound. Son uses this for his online schooling and has no complaints. Read more

Hello, I was in love with it, but then it started malfunctionining while connected. It starts to open another window when pushing any third number or letter, when closing that window it starts to print screen non stop. I hit escape and it still continues to print screen and it does not let me close it. Read more
