Beautiful keyboard, great quality. Arrived well packaged in a super cute pink box and inside the keyboard was wrapped in glittery tissue paper, great to give as a gift without having to wrap. It has tons of backlight effects. To switch between backlight effects just press the knob, and twist it to change the brightness. The multimedia buttons also control the light effects and light up the 'awsd' buttons for gaming as well as the arrow keys. You can also use the knob and the multimedia buttons for music and volume by pressing and holding down the round knob for 3 seconds, once you do this you can press the knob to mute and unmute and you can twist the knob to adjust the volume, the multimedia buttons will work as marked. To switch between the light and multimedia function of the knob just press and hold for 3 secs. The keyboard is very responsive and not at all laggy which I appreciate because although it has a cord that can be annoying to some people, the connection is not flimsy at all like the wireless keyboards that connect and disconnect all the time and that use up batteries. So don't let the cord stop you from buying. The keys are so satisfying to press and it makes school assignments so much more fun to type. I am in love with this keyboard! Not only is it so pretty, you get a little light show every time you turn on your computer. This keyboard gives you the feeling on typing on an old type writer, which I know a lot of people really like. I personally find it nice because I have tremors in my hands, which a normal more sensitive keyboard causes me to type a lot of double letters, this seems to resolve that issue. I also appreciate that this is a corded version since I’m not sure how battery life is on keyboards and my hub allows me plug in multiple items. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I love this keyboard. I've had it for several months, the color is cute and the mechanical keys give the fun clackety sound that I was looking for. I imagine it would be annoying to someone working next to you, but it's perfect for my personal office. You adjust to the round keys very quickly. Also, the lights are tricky. It doesn't come with instructions so you may think it's broken and doesn't change light settings. You have to press and hold the knob for a few seconds to get it out of audio mode and into the light effects. Then you can do a simple click of the knob to cycle through the options. I get so many compliments on this keyboard, it's actually ridiculous. I'm always having to refer my friends to this specific keyboard, I would never gatekeep! It's a truly mechanical keyboard, not "mechanical-like" as many other retro looking keyboards call themselves. The clicky sound is super satisfying, and I use it for gaming all the time.
