This ring light is good quality overall and works well for my videos and photos. The lighting options are really nice, and the remote is a great feature that makes taking pictures or recording super easy. However, there are a few downsides to note. It doesn’t extend to be taller or shorter, so you’re limited to the height of the tripod as-is. Also, the legs at the bottom don’t stay in place very well—I find myself adjusting them quite a bit to keep it stable. I bought this one for my work. I need to be on camera in some of the meetings while working from hom. My office set up is that my computer is away from the window. If I turn on my camera, the lights from the window will darken my face and made it really hard to see me from other sides. I bought this lights to put on my table so that I can turn it on when I am on camera and it works out well. It has switch to turn it on and can adjust the level of lights. Although the highest level of lights is still not strong as I have expected, but it is enough to serve my purpose. The installation is a bit tricky and there is not manual to come with it. I have to unplug and plug it back up each day I want to use it. Also, if the ring light leans forward a certain point, the joint won’t hold it up and it’ll fall forward. (Not the whole thing, just the ring light) Otherwise it works well. I like the 3 light settings and the price. It also has a remote control you can use instead of the control on the power cord.
