These shoes would have been okay if they were true to size compared to other shoe manufacturers. I have always worn a dedicated size 6 in all types of shoes for my entire adult life (and some of my child life), but these run small as evidenced by the brand size chart. I did read the size chart—which provides a 'heel to toe' measurement—before placing my order. I had noticed that the given 'heel to toe' measurement was smaller than average, so (I'm not sure how I rationalized this at the time) I figured it meant the 'heel to toe' of the foot rather than the insole, even though it is a tiny bit bigger than the average foot measurement that correlates to the shoe size. So I would suggest careful consideration of the brand size chart prior to ordering. Size issues aside, these feel like very breathable shoes with their mesh-like upper. The sole is a bit thick, but not too where it makes a significant difference. The arch support feels prominent, but not quite in the right place to be comfortable due to the sizing issue I had. Thess shoes are so much better than I expected. The arch support is far superior to even my Merrils (My normal day-to-day tennis shoe). After using them for a few weeks I'm blow away at the comfort and support. Thick memory foam helps cushion your foot and the strong arch support is firm but not uncomfortable. They are true to size, I wear a 8.5-9 and ordered a 9. I probably could have went with eight and a half but I did want to be able to really slip into them easily. That being said, you still do have to grab the back of the ankle just a little bit to slide your foot in, but you don't have to tie and untie them like a additional tennis shoe. I would not use these as a running shoe as they do not have ankle support but as an everyday option this is my new go-to. They are very easy to clean, just wipe off with a magic eraser and make them look new again. As far as value, just based on the comfort I would say these get a five out of five stars for me. The sneakers are true to size. I wear a size 10, ordered a 10, and they fit perfect. The color is rich dark purple and so beautiful in real life. I received several compliments on the sneakers on the first day I wore them at work. They are very easy to put on the feet. I do not have to untie the laces because the heels fold down so easily and are easy to unfold back when the sneakers are on. The sneakers are very light: I almost do not feel them on my feet. The insole provides a comfortable support. The fabric is stretchable and breathable. By the nature of my work, I have to be on my feet for several hours every day, and these sneakers provide all the necessary comfort to my feet. They are among my favorite shoes for work now. I've been looking for sneakers like these for a long time. They are super breathable and combine with a lot of outfits in my wardrobe. They are a little narrow for my wide feet, but they still feel very comfortable after wearing them whole day. I like that even when they are ready to be slip on, when you use them as normal, the piece on the heels is made of some kind of sweede that is very comfortable. Even though these were half a size too small for me to wear with the back of the hell up, these are insanely comfortable. I wear them in the slip-on mode which surprised me with how easy it was to transition the shoe into that style. Just push the back end down and it lays completely flat and I cannot even feel it when I'm walking. The inner soles are so plush and make walking feel amazing. They have an odd grid-like pattern for treads that feel a little spiky to the touch, but I did notice that I don't slip on my front steps as much anymore so I guess they have non-slip qualities to the sole. Love these sneakers! They are comfortable and so convenient - you can either pull them on as a normal sneaker or fold down the back and slide your foot in like a sort of slipper. The fabric is light but also durable and they are extremely comfortable and cushioned on the bottom. The top is slightly stretchy as well so they are flexible. They run true to size, and you can wear them with or without socks. I am very happy with the quality of these and I think they are a good value for the money.
