works grate inteal i got some magnetic tip USB data cables, I don't recommend them at all, because they shorted 2 Ports. I see this as a good thing because it protects my devices and the motherboard USB port, but the 2 ports on the hub are no longer usable for data, only for power. It works for the ONN 4k Pro! that streamer (as well as almost all TV's) have aq 100 base adapter so wi-fi is quicker but has more latency. Got over 500 down with this and the other ports allow you to add storage. Read more

I bought this because I was buying a new laptop without an ethernet port. Actually got the laptop the day before I got this. At first the laptop on wifi was okay but by the time it started loading all my stuff from Google Drive it really slowed down so much so that I couldn't download the software I had to install. Got this the next day, and there was absolutely nothing to read as to how to install - the User Instruction leaflet is not an instruction leaflet. The other leaflet says what it is and specs. I plugged it in and at first it still showed wifi, then after it showed a wired connection. Nothing to do at all - so nice. I've been using computers for years and it's so nice not to have to install drivers etc. One thing to note though, the leaflet recommends disconnecting when not in use and to do that you use remove device. Haven't done anything else with it yet other than connect the ethernet cable. Will update. Read more

Main purpose of purchase was to connect to internet by Ethernet cable, not WiFi. Speed test results show very high speed without an Ethernet card built into computer. USB-A hub is a big bonus and works well. Follow-up - Occasionally the unit loses connection with the Internet. Router reboot and computer restart works. I also tried unplugging the adapter, restarting computer and then plugging the adapter in after reboot. I found that this worked well for me. I left a message for Ugreen regarding this and never received a reply. Please post if anyone has found a workaround for this issue. Follow-up - Emailed Ugreen through Amazon and they are refunding purchase price thinking tha the product is defective. Took a while but Ugreen rep resolved the issue 6 months after purchase. Read more
