The stars are a bit confusing due to the nature of the rug, I'll get into that, anywayso all my bathroom are kinda later out rather odd, and I really wanted one rug to span over the floor, this one fits perfectly, so the size is perfect for my bathroom, I also used a measuring tape, so make sure you measure before you buy it and then realize it's too big or small for your bathroom. As for the "softness" it's not soft in terms of like being filled with so much stuffing and feeling like "a cloud" it's a very dense thinner material of memory foam and it feels so nice to stand on, so it feels less like a a pillow and more like shoes with a very high quality sole, in terms of money, absolutely! I'd buy a bunch of those bathroom sets with rugs included for very cheap but they wear out super quick and you can always tell the quality in the store, and end up buying a bunch meaning you spend more money because of how cheaply made it is, where as this rug, it's made rather well, the stitching is solid, the color doesn't look like it's gonna fade and of course it's machine washable, BUT make sure you follow the proper washing instructions, they're there for a reason, but this rug is absolutely awesome Read more

Seems like it was really hard to find long ones in the stores for the bathroom Like it used to be able to do, but finally found this on Amazon and it did not disappoint! It’s very comfortable to stand on and absorbent and soft and as long enough to fit in front of Most small, two Bathroom lavatories. I’m planning on buying another one that goes by the shower and tub. I bought them because my 15 year old dog was having trouble getting up off of the hardwood floors. They helped her very much and gave her a nice soft place for her to sleep next to my bed. She could no longer get on the bed. The rugs/mats are a beautiful dark brown and my dog was white. She died December 30th, but thanks to these mats, she did not suffer her last days. I washed them and dried them following instructions. All of the white dog hair was gone and they look and feel brand new. Best mats/rugs I have ever had and well worth the price. Read more

Seems absorbent, and it’s soft to step on, but it’s just thick enough that it gets stuck under the door. I haven’t had that issue with previous mats. Read more

Update: I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. I am still not fond of the look of the mat but it does help with feet fatigue. I moved the mat to my laundry room. I did notice that folding clothes was more comfortable standing on the rug vs tile. It still bothers me seeing the foot prints in the rug. Original Review: I really hate the looks of this rug. The color looks more blue than dark gray. Also, I hate how you can see all the foot steps in it. It looks cheap and not the modern clean look I was going for. It is very soft and the size fits my bathroom perfectly. I tried to return it and amazon was going to charge me $8. I’ve never been charged for a return before. I guess I’m going to Target.
