What an engineering marvel! If you’ve ever had nice photography gear, it feels like this! The whole thing is metal and does not feel like those clacky music stands even though it may look like one. The joints are fantastic and sturdy. They can bend into all these weird shapes and can support my heavy iPhone 14 Pro Max. I can fold it up flat and small, and fit it into my jeans front pocket, and I have some ladies jeans with small pockets. It’s been a few days and I’ve used it for a variety of tasks already: as a selfie stick, a stand to watch videos while I’m on an airplane, or as a hand when my hand is too tired to hold my heavy phone in a certain position. The magnet is strong and I’m not worried about my phone falling off. Essentially everything about it works great. This is a unique design that I haven’t seen around, so kudos to the company for making something so useful. This thing does not feel cheap. Read more

I’ve had this for several months and think it’s a great tripod and stand. The magnet is super strong and the all metal construction feels premium. I use the hook feature all the time, more than I thought I would. The versatile positions make it useful in all sorts of situations, and I find it extremely stable. The size is great for a pocket or bag, and I will often sort of clamp it on my pocket or edge of bag for ease of access. Highly recommend, but note you probably won’t leave it on all the time. That doesn’t bother me since it’s easy to deploy and is more versatile than most options I looked at. I haven’t needed to use the tripod screws or the repair screws yet but I appreciate the option to use with other accessories and making the product easy to maintain. Read more

Awesome phone stand. I got it to support the weight of my Iphone 17 pro. Even with a full Spigen Armor case on my Iphone 17 pro the magnet on this Tripod is SUPER strong and had no issues sticking to the phone case's back. The metal body is sturdy and has a premium feel. The joints of the tripod are stiff and don't feel like they will get loose anytime soon. It has multiple configurations for how to display your phone for vertical or horizontal display and folds neatly into a flat position without having to be removed from the phone back. Only Con is the tripod has noticeable weight. So this will increase the heaviness and bulkiness of your phone when traveling with it in your pocket/bag. Still a minor thing to consider. Otherwise a near perfect product. Read more

I love the premise, a conpact tripod that ALSO has .25" threads for use with tripods and more. It works great but i have a had just a couple of issues. The left leg magnet dissappeared with only a couple of weeks. Doesn't affect the fuctionality but helps keep the leg in place when folded. Sad to see it fall out so soon if it was there at all, I may have overlooked it. Perhaps the glue can be replaced in manufacturing. Second, this is fairly nuanced, it can be harder to use with my Fold 7 unfolded due to weight distribution. It can't be used in portrait orientation, but landscape is no issue. It's weight is a little heavy but not terrible given its size and aluminum construction and the hinges use allen bolts so they could be tightened but come very tight (one bolt hole was mildy deformed from tightening but usable) which is good for sturdiness and longevity. The stand will rais any phone off a surface high enough to use in any orientation. Read more

I really like this item! It feels very sturdy and high quality — it even has a bit of weight to it, not cheap or flimsy at all. I use it with my iPhone 12 Pro Max and it holds the weight without any issues. It’s great for taking videos and pictures from above a table (like when I’m writing or drawing), and it works well as a short-level selfie holder/stabilizer too. The included magnetic sticker is very secure, and the whole design feels reliable. Definitely worth it if you want a strong and versatile phone stand. Read more

Recently got a iphone 16 pro. Threw on a otterbox with the magsafe ring in it. Got this as my first accessory. Very impressed out of the box. Appears to be 6061 aluminum. The main magnet is very confident and strong. All swivels and joints have adjustable set screws. Screws are non magnetic and appear to be stainless or a coated zinc. The hook for horizontal hanging is aluminum, hook is held in by a solid 1.5mm steel pin. There’s kick stand legs both have small oval shaped magnets that help keep them collapsed when not using, these magnets are held in by an adhesive of some kind. All the universal 1/4” threads for cameras are to spec and tightened up nicely. All in all. I’m rather impressed. I’m a utilitarian, so something that can serve many small purposes is nice. Quality is very good. Seems very well thought out. Stability is great for many angles and areas you might encounter. I personally took every screw out and applied some very low density vibratite on the threads, just for extra protection against a screw that might back out and fly away. The kickstand leg magnets I applied a heat gun to and the adhesive failed within a few seconds. I threw some loctite super glue on there (had never failed me). The compactness is nice. I used a fold 4 before this and it’s about the same thickness. Not much more else to say. I’d say try it out if you want the versatility, and you like interesting looking mechanical and fidgety things. You’ll enjoy this. Read more

Even better than expected. This feels like a much better level of quality than I was expecting, having been let down by other small folding tripods. So far, the size and function is excellent. Hinges don't feel flimsy. The magnetic attachment is strong and functional. Getting the feeling I will use this small and convenient tripod for years to come. I'll update this if that's not the case!
