The media could not be loaded. I only write reviews for things that are actually great. Iโve had Prime since 2010 or so and Iโve left maybe 5 reviews. Over the years, I've tried countless cheap car phone mounts. They get loose easily, or my phone slips out of them. I usually have to make adjustments just on my daily commute, but the HTU Magsafe Magnetic Vent Car Mount lasted for an entire cross country drive (2,100 miles from Atlanta to Los Angeles) without falling or slipping even once. I really can't stress how frustrating my old vent mount was, so you can see why I'm taking my time on this review. ---------- Pros: 1. Idiot-Proof Operation / One-Handed Ease (10/10): The most standout feature is the incredibly simple one-handed operation of this mount. Placing and removing your phone can be done easily with just one hand because of the magnet ring feature. This is especially important during long-distance drives, allowing me to stay focused on the road without distractions. 2. Stylish Blue (10/10): Adding to its charm, this car mount boasts a fashionable blue color that looks great, and makes it stand out on my interior. I'm not struggling to find it when it's dark. I just aim for the blue dot, and my phone sticks every time. I love it! 3. High-Quality (10/10): It is exactly as advertised. Very solid quality and a good overall price. The mount durable, and doesn't wiggle at all once installed (you can still adjust it, though). It's definitely built for long-term reliability. I've got tons of confidence that this one will last for years. 4. Multi-Functional Design (10/10): The included Magsafe ring is a clever addition, making the mount compatible not only with Magsafe devices but also with phones lacking Magsafe functionality. The mount's adjustable angles help keep your phone positioned for whatever you need. That's maps for the driver, and videos for the passenger (please don't watch videos while driving). The cable organizer was a nice touch, keeping my charging cable neat and tidy. 5. Included Accessories (10/10): The mount comes with useful accessories like alcohol wipes, making installation a breeze. The user manual is clear and easy to follow. What else can you ask for? ---------- Cons: Lacks Wireless Charging (9/10): The only downside is the absence of wireless charging capability. While this may be a minor inconvenience, considering its other advantages, it's not a big issue. It's just preference on if you want a cord running to your phone or your phone mount. ---------- Notes: 1. Round Vents Are Not Compatible: It's worth noting that the mount's hooks may not fit circular vents. It's designed for squared or rectangular vents. I had no problem with my Toyota, but not all vents are created equal. Before installation, ensure your vehicle's vent shape is compatible to ensure a secure fit. 2. Using the Magsafe Ring: For devices without Magsafe functionality, remember to adhere the Magsafe ring to the outside of your phone case, not inside, to ensure proper magnetic attachment functionality. ---------- All in all, the Magsafe Car Mount proved to be a fantastic product on my cross-country trip. I can be a "quality snob" and this thing is one of those few things that absolutely nails it and sticks the landing in all categories. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, aka the biggest, heaviest one out there, and itโs stable. Itโs so stable that I took time out of my day to write this review because finding quality stuff is so hard in the sea of Amazon trash. This is one of the legit gems. Being this impressed with a Phone Mount may seem odd, but I really can't express how much of a difference the little quality of life improvements make. I drive a LOT, and there were no slips, no drops, and no accidental button presses when using the mount (unlike those "squeeze" ones). Anyway, Thank you for reading my review.
