Very light weight and compact for carrying
This Blackpongo Ultralight Sleeping Bag is very light and compact rolled up. The material feels pretty durable and doesn’t feel like it would get ripped very easily. It is soft on the inside and I like that the zipper has an attachment that makes it really easy to grasp and pull. It is waterproof from splashing; I did not submerse it into water. There is some padding for lying on the ground, but it is not plush. The carrying bag seems to be durable material – I really like the carrying straps on the bag – it’s very easy to grab hold and comfortable in my hand (or to clip to your backpack). Very Thin and lightweight.
This sleeping bag is VERY thin. It is only useable for summer months. Would be good for backpacking where weight is an issue. You will need to use a sleeping pad or other cushion. More like a blanket than traditional sleeping bag. Read more
