I was thrown off by the product photograph that clearly shows a far more box-like structured garment bag; the one that I received remains quite floppy even after I inserted the internal support rods to the top and bottom. The fabric is excellent, the zipper is sturdy, but when loaded with heavy coats this garment bag follows the contours of the clothing rather than hanging straight. I had planned to hang it from an open-air clothing rack inside our entryway, yet it does not look neat and tidy as I had hoped. I might someday try cutting up a large cardboard box to fit the three interior sides of this garment bag so that it will hang straight as shown in the product photograph, yet doing so just for the sake of appearances seems like too much trouble when it's hidden away now in a bedroom closet. I am not a fan of this product. I got it to bring some organization to my closet as well as keep things like my husband's dress shirts and suits that he rarely wears except to events such as funerals as an example, cleaner and out of the way in the back of the closet in the bag. However, another idea for it would be to store winter coat. My thought reason for getting this bag is that it was cloth so it would allow the fabric to breathe as opposed to putting them in plastic. But I am left wondering if it will keep the dust off and keep the suits clean. I guess time I will have to explore into that answer. It was easy to put together despite the horrid instructions so basically you are left to figure out which rod fits where, so I think I have that right. So at the end it is a big floppy fabric bag that hangs in the closet. I question how long the top hanger will last especially cloths are hung on the hanger which adds weight, but time will tell. Since there is no way to to fix the rods in the cloth slots (for lack of better words), they slip out easily. When we carried the bag from the living room where we assembled it to the bed room, the rods want to slip out. It is not super sturdy and I am left questioning its durability. It is large enough for me so the storage capacity is good, but then again the more clothes you put into, the more weight on the hanger which I am already questioning how long that will hold up. While it is a good idea and a roomy garmet bag, a good size for me anyway, the quality could be improved. For example, we will move soon and walk the garmet bag down from the 10th floor to 6th floor apartment will the rods stay in the bag? I guess I will see, but if any rod is lost, then the bag becomes inefficient. In other words, I might have rated this slightly different if the rods had a mechanism to adhere the rods in place.
