Works exactly as intended. I bought a name brand kit for my Wolfbox rear view camera mirror but it was flaky and died randomly or didn’t come on. I kept the existing jumpers to the fuses and this kit just plugged in and worked immediately. easy to install, less expensive than the other, and works great. One flaw…. The voltage switch is easy to move and before I secured the switch box to the panel it rubbed and changed the allowable voltage. I just used the dash cam hot wiring cable harness for a dash cam installation. It worked out great without any problems. The fit and finish of the cables are superb with easy way to attach (no soldering like before). There is a 4-way switch to select how low you want the battery to go down before the stationary recording cuts off. This is a great feature. Will not work with Terunsoul or Ovaman k600 dash cams, as the usb pinout is wrongly configured that allows those cams to detect ACC+ power is off. Meaning the parking monitor feature is kaput. I actually bought three of this style configuration and none of them worked properly. I sent 2 back as the return window had closed on the first one. From another reviewer on these things, I wired my wires correctly. just checked red to acc, yellow bat+, this kit does not work with ovaman k600. I found this on reviewer site, says hardwire kit is not properly outputting power to usb c for park mode. Below are the output connections from the Regulator Output to the USB-C pins for both HW kits. The USB-C pinout is important because the dashcam needs to get constant power for parking mode and needs to know when the car is started (ACC goes active) to start recording, and these signals need to be on the correct pins. The only difference between the two kits is that ACC is output on A8,B8(sbu1,sbu2) in addition to cc1 & cc2 in the RedTiger HW kit. But the F7N seems satisfied with ACC on just cc1 Read more

Seems to work so far. To help with fishing of the cable you can remove the toroidal coil from the end and then snap it back on after you get it where you want it. I wish the cable could unplug for the voltage regulator box it would make it easier to install. And if it had a better way to zip tie would be nice. It works with the Redtiger F7N and was cheaper than OEM version. Read more
