always having usb connection trouble, this tool handles deals with troubles well. Like "lego" building blocks as a kid you can get needed combos of 3 of these to get a proper switching around of uses to fit the use you use and mine change from moment to moment with the small computer and big ones. I don't want files to come up when using the small computer (often) and 3 of these lets me quickly unplug and eliminate the file coming on the screen. My recent switching to wired keyboard using (because I'm more and more friendly with wires once learning more about computers. I can use this 3 combination (I bought 4 altogether, one for good secure phone connection and 3 to be combined and versatile uses from moods changing from moment to moment. It worked with no issues for my laptop. Unfortunately, did not work for my Samsung Galaxy S9+. The video was good, but USB ports mostly non functional. They worked once and after that would never give more than a blip of power to my keyboard and then shut down. Also, does not have a charge port, which is a significant disadvantage compared to other models that do. I ended up buying one that has a charge port, so don't need this thing. I was going to send it back, but the box got tossed, so guess it will be the backup. Read more
Excellent for travel, though I am using it mostly stationary in a KVM setup (USB-C to HDMI + USB-A) with a Dell XPS laptop. It has been working stably since it was received over a week ago, so hopefully it will provide years of solid operation! Read more

Having just two USB-C outlets sucks when you've got a phone, printer, iPod and more all with USB cords!! This has worked well to allow me to use my equipment with this Macbook Air. Definitely worth the purchase price! Haven't found a downside to this yet. Read more
