It isn't what I need but I'll keep it because it works
This isn't what I thought it was, but I will keep it. There is only one type C input. It is the main input into a device, with a USB cover in case you need an adapter to make a type C into a usb. I thought I was buying a device that had multiple C and USB inputs. It does have three USB inputs but no type C. I'll keep it because I can use it for other things but I'll keep shopping for what I really need. Read more

Light, Attractive, and Effective
I got this to replace an older, slower unit that, in many ways was very similar. I use it at computer in its office position: my rung light gets plugged in to a USB 2.0 port for meetings, my external hard drive gets plugged into the USB 3.0 port for backups, I charge my phone when I'm at my desk via USB-C. I knew that my old one was not going as fast as possible. And I know (from reading about it, but also from usage) that this one is going as fast as what is currently available to me. I've been using this on my work laptop to connect my key and a few other USB devices. My laptop is limited with ports, only having a couple USB-C ports. This has worked great to extend them and give me more options as well as USB-A. Thanks! Read more
Works well for it's intended purpose
This is a simple device that pretty much everybody should have that works from home on their laptop, especially if you use an external monitor. This allows you to have all of your devices that live at your desk to be connected and disconnected easily and quickly with only one cable. Without it, you might have to hook up several different cords every time you sit down to work. Overall, it has worked well with a variety of USB and USB-C devices, as well as to connect my laptop to a monitor. It's much quicker and more powerful than the old USB-3.0 device that it replaced.
