Convenient/cheap hub when phones are circling drain. Worth having before device battery dies.

This device has been very useful. I will admit that I didn't even realize that this device had an ethernet adaptor built in, despite the title. I recognized the exact design from previous purchases on Temu, and indeed this is exactly the same as the version off of Temu, but a bit quicker delivery for a few dollars more. In some cases that might be a disappointment, but in my case this was just what I needed and I couldn't wait for Temu. A few extra bucks is a fair cost for the convenience of 1-2 day delivery. I specifically needed quick delivery of a USB-C male hub that would allow me to plug in some low power USB-A (and possibly USB-C devices). Specifically I needed something that would work for my Google Pixel, and this mini hub worked exactly as expected. My wife's screen stopped functioning for touch after the phone unintentionally joined our kids for a bubble bath, and we needed quick access before a replacement phone would be delivered. This hub allowed me to connect first a USB-A joystick (the first wired controller I found), then the wireless dongle for a wireless keyboard (once I realized that it was stashed inside of the keyboard), and eventually a USB drive in case my wife needed to move any files (which proved unnecessary). All of those devices were USB-A, and we expected to need to use 2 of them at once, even on a phone that only had a single USB-C port. It all worked, as expected (though the joystick was actually a surprise). I also tried pushing my luck a bit to see if I could simultaneously run a USB-C external monitor with those controls when the phone screen started flickering out, but I realized I was pushing my luck on that one because the USB-C monitor also sort of flickered on/off with the monitor brand splashscreen repeatedly (though it works when plugged directly into the phone, which wouldn't have been possible initially before we used a wired joystick to pair a bluetooth mouse/keyboard to the phone). Now a few weeks later, I realize that even the video through this mini hub might have just been a power-handling issue, and I wonder if it would have worked if I had plugged the other monitor USB-C into a power bank. Oh well. Live and learn. Regtardless, for under $20, we were able to retrieve everything needed and transition a dying phone in its last gasps over to a brand new device. My advice to everyone... always have a hub on hand that allow USB-A devices to plug USB-A and USB-C devices into either USB-A or USB-C computers/phones/tablets/devices. You never know when you will need one, and it will cost you twice as much to buy it domestically instead of planning ahead direct from manufacturers. This little hub has a USB-A male to USB-C female tiger tail (or whatever you call those little extra dangley converters on the ends of cables), so it works both ways to connect either A or C devices to either A or C computers/phones. Decent budget hub, but you might want one with more than one USB-C port

This does what it supposed to do; that is, it allows me to connect a USB C and 3 USB A devices, plus a USB C and ethernet port. All of them functioned as advertised; the speed was full USB 3.0 for all devices. It's very lightweight so I can just keep it in my backpack all the time and know that that I'll always be able to use USB A devices (my laptop only has USB C). The manufacturer already states clearly that this can't power the host device, so I'm not going to criticize it for that (and that's not a big issue for me since I have 2 USB C ports on the computer). However, I would have liked to have more than one USB port; it doesn't really work to run an external USB monitor that gets its power via USB, since the hub doesn't supply enough power for that. But for what it does, it's a decent value. Read more

Perfectly functional. USB-C and USB-A 3.o inputs work at high speed. No issues

Been using this for two months without any problems. Works great in my car to expand the ports on my dash and infotainment inputs. Three USB-A 3.0 ports, One USB-C, and an ethernet port. Gives me more charging ports for my dash cameras and Android infotainment computer. After two months there are no issues. I would buy this again. Read more

Solid.

Decently built, broad connectivity, and it functions exactly as it should. USB passthrough works fine, connectors are all off the shelf parts so I'd be bothered if they didn't fit right, but they do. Speed is exactly what you expect from a hub like this, it's easy to use. Mind you, this is an unpowered hub. All power has to come off of the USB connection, it does not itself have a power supply. So that will affect speed and the like. Read more

Ethernet adapter combined with USB3 hub.

I got it for my laptop. In my basement WiFi speeds are significantly lower than upstairs. My laptop doesn't even have an RJ-45 port. This adapter provides a full featured RJ-45 port with activity and protocol LEDs and also 3x USB 3 port hub, so I can plug a flash drive or USB printer or scanner. The device has both USB-C plug and USB-A adapter. The adapter doesn’t require any additional drivers under Windows 11 or Ubuntu. I tried it with my Android phone but unfortunately only the USB hub was supported. Read more
