This came up at the exact time I was having intermittent problems with my existing USB devices/hub (I primarily use this as a makeshift docking station). My old hub was experiencing things like random disconnects if I moved a cable, or issues with the data writes (just random failures that I eventually chalked up poor hub performance). I can. 100% say that yes this works. It works much better than some of the others I've purchased in the past. Not a single problem so far. I have it hooked up for my camera, USB dongle for wireless mouse, and a data cable for my phone development. Love it. Entirely plus and play with 0 complications. Works with both the USBC and USB A adapters. The only thing Im not a fan of us the adapter for standard USB A is connected to the end of the cable such that if you dont want to use it you take it off and peel it away. But it's perm attached - and my ports on my MacBook are tight together. This attachment puts some tension on the crowded cable space.
