First , you should be aware that this clock requires that you plug it on to an electric wall outlet . There is no battery option, so this might limit where you can place it . The supplied cord is only about 5ft long (roughly). It can be operated from a USB power source however . Example : A laptop computer or even a cell phone power brick. The clock is easily read from across a large living room. With my eyesight, the time can easily be ready from 30ft away , the lower line of text, with the date on it , is smaller and I can’t see it after more than 15 feet away . The various colors of the text ate easily selected by pressing buttons on the back or via the supplied remote control . The various reminders are programmed the same way . You can load in photographs via the SD card slot. I’m not sure , but you may also be able to load photographs via a USB memory stick. The brightness of the display can be set to various levels and you can vary the levels by time of day , such as lower brightness at night . This is far more than a clock. It's a clock, calendar and time managment system. The reminders can be many and on simple daily tasks that just need a reminder, with text and picture. The chime is loud but pleasant, not an alarming alarm. It can be set to turn the alarm off without help so the clock does not have to be touched at all after setting it. No snooze button needed. Very easy to set up and the remote is no fuss either. Extra like the light going dim at bedtime is nice also. After all of that it has battery back up, our electric flickered last night and I'm so glad it did not turn off. . . This is an amazing clock when extra instructions are needed. Read more

The product is as described. The plastic feels a little cheap around the clock exterior. It has a lot of fun options. The only issue that I am having with it is getting the chime to sound on the hour. I followed all the directions as stated in the booklet and followed the menu options. Still does not seem to work. Display is excellent. Sharp & bright. Can set up without instructions. Everyone likes the display a lot. Also the swing out arm in back for table top use is sturdy. Two bad things about it though. Want to hang it on the wall but even without the electric cord plugged into the side, the unit wants to hang lopsided. As soon as i hung it on the nail it tilted to the right. I had to battle to try to get it to hang level. The circuit board/speaker is mounted on the same side of the unit so it's weight isn't distributed evenly about the center of the product. Then when i had to plug in the power cord to that same side of the unit, the show was over. Then it really tilted about 20 degrees to the right because of the added weight of the cord. I had to add another hole in the back of the unit on the weighted side and add a 2nd nail in the wall to mount in that new hole. So i had a nail in the center as designed, and a 2nd nail only on the right half of the unit to stop it from tilting badly to the right. The 2nd bad thing is f i use the pre-programmed notifications for things such as closing the door reminder or medications, the instructions say to press any button to shut them off. But all the buttons are on the back of the unit, and if it's hung on the wall how are you going to push a button to shut off the notification. Otherwise it's good Read more

Enjoy being able to pick color I prefer, can glance up and see month, day, date and time of day. Being winter, I’ve fallen asleep and on waking up, have briefly not been sure if dawn or dusk. My regular alarm does not tell me. Have opened my eyes and thought initially it was time for work … and I was late! Several friends.have said they had the same thing happen.. also, has phases of the moon, resets itself for daylight savings time, and has a charger so it stays on if power goes off. Read more
