They are beautiful glasses. They feel like they are great quality. I didn’t use them because sadly they were too strong and had a hard time adjusting my eyes once I took them off. So I’ll have to return them. It was my normal cheap reading glass # maybe because I buy reading glasses at the 1.25 oh now 1.75 store the number is wrong. But not sure. Don’t go off my review except to say these look to be good quality, packaging top notch, and I definitely would have kept them if I could figure out what # I need. Read more

I am disabled, and walk with a cane, so going to the lobby to get the mail and packages out of the postal lockers is a bit more complicated for me than for someone who doesn't need to use a cane. The weather here is always super bright, and my eyes are pretty sensitive, so I like to wear sunglasses when I need to go get the mail. Sometimes the delivery people leave packages on a small table in the lobby. The names on the boxes are impossible for me to see without my reading glasses. I bring those with me when I go, but switching them out for my sunglasses while supporting myself with a cane is awkward, and I invariably drop my reading glasses after reading the names and switching back to my sunglasses. I can pick them up off of the floor- it just takes me extra effort. And if I need to hold on to packages to keep track of the ones that are mine while I am doing this, this glasses switching can turn into a bit of an ordeal. After a trip to get a package resulted in dropping my favorite pair of reading glasses and one of their lenses cracking, I decided I had had enough. I searched for "reading glasses- sunglasses" on Amazon. I liked the way these V.W.E. reading sunglasses looked the best, and they got decent reviews. As soon as they arrived, I had to wait, as I didn't have any mail or packages coming for a few days. But I finally got to test them out. And- they work great! It is such a relief not to have to switch glasses. I had a package that had been left on the dreaded lobby table. I paused above the group of packages out of habit, thinking, oh- I need to scramble to change glasses. I then remembered- no, I don't! I found my package in the bright lobby easily, and didn't have to prop myself or my cane against anything, or worry about dropping this or that. These glasses are also flattering. I have a pretty round face, and small sunglasses can look a little strange on me. So, along with making life easier, these even look kind of stylish on me! I think they would look good on any shape of face. I tend to be rough on my belongings- it's just been a lifelong thing, it isn't intentional- so I'll check in to report on how durable they are. They don't appear to be especially flimsy, but with me- we shall see. I got the 3.25 strength, and their magnification is very true to what I usually wear. There is no distortion to the lenses. They are a sort of a neutral charcoal colored dark glass, not too dark, and very soothing to my light-sensitive eyes. I was worried that wearing them while I was walking around would be disorienting, as I usually don't wear magnifying lenses unless I need to see close up. But I didn't experience any discomfort at all, and nothing seemed luridly distorted or anything. I am really pleased with these V.W.E. glasses. I like their performance, and am hoping they will be durable. I recommend them to anyone who is tired of having to perform the reading glasses/sunglasses juggling act. Loved the glasses, stylish and comfortable but unfortunately the frame cracked within a few days n the black pair, while i was on vacation. Haven’t tried the brown pair yet as I did it bring them. So was left without reading glasses. Read more
